Carolina Under-rated!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Gamecocks are so under-rated this season, a careful review of the the schedule shows they are certainly the best 5-2 team in the country and really should be 7-0!!!!
USC 15 - Miss State 0
Newton didn't start at QB or the Gamecocks would have scored 50, and I don't know why everybody overlooks the shutout. Afterall Mississippi State did finally score in the third week of the season to almost beat Tulane.
USC 0 - Georgia 18
This was back when Georgia was really good, so it was a really tough game. After USC pounded the Bulldawgs to a pulp physically, UGA just hasn't been the same. Plus, the Cocks later beat Vanderbilt who did beat Georgia, so the Gamecocks would definitely win if they played again.
USC 27 - Wofford 20
They are one really tough Div IAA school even if they are 3-4 and lost to Furman worse than they were beaten by USC. A victory is a victory and that's all that matters.
USC 45 - FAU 6
What can you say. Great Victory over FLORIDAau, should have vaulted Gamecocks into top 20 with a 3-1 record. Lou said so. Tennessee has already lost to FLORIDA this season, no reason USC shouldn't beat them too.
USC 17 - Auburn 24
Should have beaten the number 2 team in the country if not for that cheatin' TT calling for an onside kick in the middle of third quarter.
USC 24 - Kentucky 17
Totally dominated a tough SEC team in the Wildcats. The same Kentucky Wildcats who smashed TEXAS state 41-7 earlier this season.
USC 31 - Vanderbilt 13
Signature win of the season so far. This is not your father's Vanderbilt team anymore. The Vandies have current winning streaks going over the Vols and Dawgs; Plus they almost beat Arkansas who did beat Auburn who did beat Florida who has beaten LSU and the Vols. This win shows the Gamecocks have the potential to dominate every team in the SEC this season.
