Actually Dooley was the winner as he really cashed in coaching the Vols. He still gets those checks in the mail and will be for quite a while. He should have never been hired he had a losing record at La. Tech. and our AD at the time somehow came up with the brilliant idea that he could win in the SEC. Wow that must have really took some thought.

nb4....."CAN WE JUST MOVE ONNNNN?!?!?"

Apparently... we can't.

I'm not sure my heart can stand the surprise. Players who played for Fulmer in his "day" with great loyalty to him blame the most convenient target for everything that happened.

Was Dooley a loser? He tried. He failed. Loser or not he was not up to the task and was rightly and necessarily fired.

It was a good read. Props to Larkins for speaking his mind and Al. The article is pretty spot on about the upcoming season. I expect the 2015 squad to be the year we finally field a team that looks like a legit SEC team.

Funny how people are bashing Cory but Big Al....no, Cory didn't play for DD but he wore the jersey that helped continue/build our success. For that very reason he can say whatever the **** he wants to say!

JMHO! Go Vols!

Nothing against Coach Jones, but if we had hired Ron Zook, players would talk about him the same way.

You can't get any lower than Dooley.

Let's replay this article 5 years from now.
