Just something so repulsive...

Cross division games don’t matter in the division race. Keep clowning though.
Do you understand that Conference games played among teams in separate Divisions, count equally in that Conference's Divisional Standings, as games that were played between teams in the same Division?

That is not just how it is in the SEC, but every other FBS Conference with 2 divisions, as well.

Knowing this, I don't see how anyone can make the claim that "Cross division games don't matter in the division race."

LSU is going to the SEC Championship Game by virtue of their head-to-head victory over Alabama. That is the tie-breaker; not the divisional record.

For the 3rd time, if you want to just say that SEC Games played within the division are more important than SEC games played against teams from the opposite division, that is accurate ... but to say that SEC games played outside of your division don't really matter is wrong. It is weird that you are arguing this point to the extent that you are.

He's not even arguing what he claims he's arguing; he keeps saying cross divisional games don't matter, then keeps saying you CAN or MAY win the division without them; which literally nobody has been arguing against those scenarios.

Do i need to break out the crayons to explain this to you?

... and you're going to resort to putdowns, on top of it?

You seem very stubborn. On some level, you have to realize that your assertion is full of holes. Conference games played outside of the same division do count in the divisional standings. Everybody knows this.

You really need to focus on the positive things. Sorry you feel need to take things in a very thin skinned manner. #CDGDM

You can drop the condescension, and answer one simple question :

Are the games played annually between Tennessee and Alabama included in the SEC's Divisional Standings? Yes or No?

If the answer is "Yes" then I don't see how you can argue that inter-divisional games don't really matter. Any game included in the Conference Standings obviously matters.

Of course not.

What?!?!?!

OMG.

If you check the current 2022 SEC Football Standings, you will see that Alabama's conference record is listed 6-2. The only way to arrive at 2 conference losses on the season for Alabama is to include their game against Tennessee.

Right.

What he really means to say, is that games played against divisional opponents are more important than inter-divisional games, but I have already acknowledged that four or five times now. Due to stubbornness, he doesn't want to abandon his narrative that "Cross division games don't really matter."
