Highlights:

This was the best game OSU has played in several years

He feels they were embarrassed from UM game, had a lot to prove

He wonders if they will have same mindset next week. Loosing to Oregon was not the same as loosing to a .500 UM team

He still wonders if OSU will make a change if they don’t win a natty this year

Much of the fan base sold tickets due to disgust over UM. Some are still mad

Some fans are really confident now and expect OSU to boat race Oregon and everyone else.

Said some Vols players seemed disinterested

He still wonders if NIL is sustainable as far as team unity. 18-21 year olds don’t see it as a business like NFL player. It would not surprise him if OSU lays an egg next week if egos get in the way.

I said it another thread, OSU played the game of their lives because they were butthurt over a few Tennessee fans doing fan things. The stars aligned for them last night in every way possible, it happens.
Actually he was complementing the Vol fan base. He watched the World Series and was pulling for the Vols and was impressed by UT crowd. Did not believe that the size of Vol fan base was the main motivation, loss to UM still stings

I think Day was also in real danger of being fired if he lost the game after losing to Michigan for the 4th year straight (at home to a mediocre Michigan team at that).

He was literally coaching for his job yesterday while we were just happy to be there.

I kind of wonder if Day beats OSU to the punch and finds another gig. I know OSU is a supposed “blue blood” but Bama, UGA, LSU have all won multiple nattys in the last 20 years while OSU has one if memory serves me correctly. Even Auburn has played for 2, one more than OSU.

Some random thought stream from some OSU fan...exactly what we needed. Vol players seemed disinterested?---BS. They simply got their butts kicked. If this was played at Neyland, it would have been entirely different. Not saying we would have won, but it definitely would have looked different. NCAA wasn't having none of that shiz, tho

The NFL could go after Day after their season ends.

OSU won in 2002 with Tressel and 2014 with Meyer. They are kind of like the Georgia of the SEC - always good, but long periods of not good enough.
