for being a big part of our SEC Championship next season.

We should be much improved everywhere except the offensive line.

Next season will come down to the play of our front 4 on defense and the play of whoever is under center, which, IMO, will be Ferg

Explain to me how we don't contend for the east next year.

We'll contend....in August...

By mid-October...we will be on the outside looking in....

Just like the last several years...BIG talk in the off-season...then...well...you know (or should)

no reasoning there - counting it as pessimism until I see a valid argument

I would like to also give thanks to our 1st Heisman Trophy winner next year and our 1st Men's Baketball Final 4 champs. What a year? How will we top 2014?

Considering we haven't beat Ala, Fla, Geo in eons, that is a good starting point.

Please note: we have only won 7 SEC games in 4 years. If we could take all of those wins and apply them to 2014, then I would say we have a shot.

if we can copy auburns offense and run it to a T we will have a chance to win the east with some added speed on defense.

It's possible we could be contenders for the east next season. Georgia, SC and UF are all losing some major talent at the skill positions. I am not saying its going to happen, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. I think we will see good improvement next year and if we get everything rolling, I could see us competing.

This is why VN explodes when we lose. Threads like this need to go away until we can get to a bowl game at least. Not being negative, I'm just tired of everyone expecting big things so soon. It doesn't hurt to dream but geez.

Every year some SEC team has an Auburn type of year. Remember 98 (Clint Sterner and Syracuse). Next year could be ours. Never the less we will be much better next year, thanks to this great incoming class.

Really? It seems Alabama, Auburn & LSU have owned the NCAA over the past 5+ seasons. Oops. I forget FLA and that takes us back to 2006.

Explain to me how you see more than six wins next year.

QB - Ferg or Dobbs after an actual offseason
RB - HURD
WR -This year = Worst WR Corp, next year, arguably best
TE - None on roster this year, two studs coming in
OL - Losing talent. Hopefully gaining some testicles.

DT - We had McCullers (not scheme fit) and Hood (who I like a lot, but wasn't stellar IMO) - JUCOs and true DTs coming in.
DE - We had a corp of underachievers here, we have some true beasts coming in
LB - We had AJ Johnson & the slugs trotting around the field this year - we have some SICK talent coming in
DB - Coleman no more.
S - These guys are going to be sick after an offseason and being healthy

UGA - Losing Murray will be huge.
Florida - lol - muschamp - how did they not fire him?
Mizzou - losing 10 starters, including Franklin. That doesn't include juniors who should go, like Josey.
SCJr - Shaw & Clowney gone - .... we still beat them
Vandy - lol
Kentucky - lololololololololol

The problem I see with that our QBs were recruited for a pro style offense. Butch likes the read option. And people can't figure out why we have trouble on offense this year, :ermm::eek:hmy:
