Now, you have Sheryl Crow essentially defending the rights of an invading species to "occupy" land that that they were introduced to by the white man. If they are allowed to stay on these lands that they have occupied, would she support the white man staying in the former territories of Mexico (California, Arizona, etc)? Does she call the white man an occupier of the US that stole the land from Indians? Is she defending the Jews in the West Bank and Gaza?

Apparently, the dog means everything in the world to him. Those people took his love & only companionship away. I wonder how they'd like it if strangers came to their home & just walked in & took some of the stuff they cherish away?

I mean it's a dog. I know the dude is homeless and can't afford medication and vaccines but damn, dogs were wild animals once. It can survive on its own pretty easily. Sure it won't have a super long or great life but damn, give him his dog.

Whether he cared about the dog as a companion isn't clear from the clip. Street people in Europe keep dogs to deter arrest because it's a PITA for the police to arrange housing for the dog if they arrest the bum.
