Emotional craziness is the reason. Period. Unable to accept that it “wasn’t her turn.”It exists for one reason.
Trump is a horrendously despicable human.
That's it.
You can claim otherwise until your dying breath, but it doesn't change the reality.
I've lived through many republican administrations and lost plenty of elections...........not one single one is even remotely comparable to Trump.
Not arguing the rules, my point in publishing the numbers is that the Republicans played nice even though the Democrats had been and were pulling out every dirty trick when it came to a Republican President's nominee that may have any sort of opinions, legal or otherwise, that went against their dogma.Yes they were. But the bar was simple majority that’s all that was required to clear nomination. But prior to the nuclear option by Reid you needed 60 to enter cloture.
I’m not going to pretend I know why this is in place. But then were the rules.
Luther, you might be surprised at how many republicans didn't vote for Trump in 2016 that can't wait to vote for him this year.Your views were completely overshadowed by the fact that you knowingly nominated, elected, and continue to support a horrendously despicable human. Policies and issues rightfully took a back seat.
Look I am going to be honest I don't give a crap about her last wish what about all the babies last wishes she helped abort.Because being only 6 weeks out in today's political environment makes it a prudent decision,
and so many repubs seem to support the concept of not naming a replacement in an election year (not just a year - six weeks).
Who said her last wishes should dictate policy?
I don’t disagree with you on any of your points. Not arguing the rules, my point in publishing the numbers is that the Republicans played nice even though the Democrats had been and were pulling out every dirty trick when it came to a Republican President's nominee that may have any sort of opinions, legal or otherwise, that went against their dogma.
They were intent on destroying the individual.
Look at Ted Kennedy's screed concerning the nomination of Bork, just filled with untruth.
Look at the travesty of Anita Hill testifying against Clarence Thomas.
Look at Blasey Ford's testimony against Kavanaugh. It was shameful and pathetic that they trotted that person out to tell her tale.
All attempts at destruction of the person at any cost to derail the confirmation of the individual, because that person may not see things their way.
It's absolutely disgusting and it's a big reason why we are where we are, today.
"Light in the Loafers Lindsey" is a flaming, limp-wristed, career politician who will say and do anything to get elected. Check out the videos on him calling Trump a "jackass" and also going on and on about what a great guy Joe Biden is. Those videos are all easy to find on YouTube. Lindsey stands for nothing... but he bends over for just about anything.Kinda like Graham saw the light. The change has been something to see; I'd certainly decided he was a worthless piece of garbage before whatever turned his light on.

I'm guessing Trump dedicated his third foot wedge of the day to her.

That is funny... and not what any of the polls say at all. There is quite a bit of wishful thinking here. Trump and the Republicans rushing through a confirmation won't help them on November 3rd at all. Having the Supreme Court locked down for conservatives, could also negate a key motive for people who don't like Trump... to still vote for Trump. Look at the discrepancy in money Biden is raising right now compared to the Trump campaign... your whole damn post is delusional and not fact-based at all.The Democrats were maxed out on voters they can get months ago. They've been bleeding votes due to the civil unrest in large cities. That is why the race tightened. The Supreme Court vacancy is a game changer. Only problem for the Democrats is that everyone who wants Ginsberg replaced with another liberal is already in their column. This can only move votes to Trump and Republican Senate candidates..
