Even though I really liked Raylan going doing a little shooting under duress, it was much deeper than that.

It was juxtaposing Raylan's and Boyd's position in life. Both are looking to start a family and struggling with their circumstances in doing so. It was damn Shakespearean.

I agree with the juxtaposition, but I think it's fair to add onto it. Raylan is all that is left of his line right now. His father is dead and never cared that much for him. The love of his life is gone because of the OTHER love of his life, which is exactly like what happened to Boyd. His love life is gone because of what he wanted to do for his future. Both wanted to start families, and yet, in a strange way, they both are back to nothing in their own unique losses.

Hey I told you before it happened she was going to jail. I actually like that the went that direction, Boyd needs to be Boyd. Ava was sapping his Boydness. Lol

Guess you were right. I just didn't want to see it happen. It's kind of a repeat scenario with Arlo even more so now that I read this...

Ava's storyline could be really good if done right, I'm sure it will be.

I'm looking forward to a more ruthless Boyd next year.

Bad whipped, don't get me wrong he was still awesome. And I know it's his character evolving, but I miss crazy azz Boyd. Now that Ava is gone he is in serious need of a new crew.

He just doesn't look like a main bad guy, ya know? Mags had that look. Boyd has that look. A certain blonde child rapist had that look, but not michael rapaport sadly.

Best show on TV IMO. Can't wait until the season starts. I want Constable Bob back this season too. He was awesome.
