Justified

The trauma of Ava getting killed in a gunfight between him and Raylan causes him to have a breakdown and go to Cali.

I'm in on this headcanon.

And his knowledge of explosives aided in his ability to kill Lem with a hand grenade.

Two references to Dallas sports station 1310 the Ticket on air personalities...Gordon Keith who is a morning host and has an obsession with Lee Harvey Oswald and Grubes, who used to be a board Op on the station. Ty Walker, who met his end on the show last night is also a real life sports update host on the station. The producer on the show is a loyal listener, so if you wonder how Elmore Leonard came up with some of these strange characters? He didn't. Gonna miss this show! So Raylan figured out that Ava has thrown back in with Boyd? Getting ugly.

It's always a good episode when Raylan drops someone. And now he and Avery are baiting Boyd. The pot is beginning to boil over.

Pretty neat how they worked Arlo back in for a bit.

Yea nice to see Raylan get closure without taking up much of the episode.

As a writer, the most ****ed up and crazy things I've ever put to paper actually happened. People can make up great stories, but the best ones are anchored in a truth, whether that be a person, an event, or in the case of Justified, a town.

There is a theory that if you get a bullet close to a coiled rattlesnake's head, it will strike at the bullet. Might have had some truth in the 1800's with lower velocity shells but I can't see it today. Ol' Quickdraw is kind of scary. Closest I've see to the guy that did the trick with the ice pick. I wonder what novel way Raylan will find to put this one down.

I can't believe that guy was dumb enough to fall for the ol "gun in the purse" trick.

When she said that the first thing I thought was "Surely this guy isn't dumb enough to not say 'Don't open the purse, hand it to me'"

But he was. What a jackass.
