Seriously guys I've never posted a comment or even stated a comment in person about ESPN hating us but I've got to admit something seems to be up. I really think something happened sometime somewhere and we don't have the best relationship. I'm not one for conspiracys but it's almost everytime they mention us they screw our logo up or something along those lines. Could be nothing and probably a guy doing it on purpose. Who knows.

The ESPN ticker will report the commitment on the right and then list a team that offered the prospect on the left. Sometimes it is the team that the prospect committed to, sometimes its not. If you refresh the page a couple of times I bet that the team logos will change a few times... Just an FYI.

The hardest part about starting this thread was my dilemma of where to put it, given the absence of an Oklahoma State Vols Recruiting forum. Volnation should really work on that.

when i was an undergrad the rumor going around campus about the cause of espn's hatred of ut was that it all stemmed from that gameday commercial in the late 90's or early 2000's (not sure) that depicted a morbidly obese hillbilly woman in an orange smock chasing her pet pig, rocky top, out of an elevator and into the espn lobby. the student body apparently took offense to the ad and pelted the gameday crew with bottles and trash the next time they came to campus...don't know how true the pelting is, but the commercial is real (and pretty funny).

They do that all the time. I am not sure why, but I think they just put logos of other teams that the recruit was considering. They do that daily to other teams as well...not just a UT thing. It happens daily.
