Justin Fields was at Ga practice today

You don't know that. And do you really think Frohm was better than Fields hahah?
He didn't win it because Kirby wasnt going to bench a starter who led them to a National Championship appearance and SEC Championship. Saban did...but Smart is no Saban.
The ironic thing though is that Saban never won a title with Tua, unquestionably the best QB he ever had, as the starter. He won national titles with Greg McElroy, A.J. McCarron, Jake Coker, and Jalen Hurts...but not Tua.

It isn't exactly simple to win a national title. UT's most famous player won 1 SEC title and the guy that followed him won a NC....go figure.

True, but it's just interesting how Saban has such a long term, established pattern with it. He's won all his titles with game manager QBs and an offensive style that reflected that, yet he wasn't able to win one in the 2 years he had a dynamic passer that drove his offense.

If Peyton had a Florida game where the defense forced 6 turnovers, he probably would have beaten Florida and won a title too.

Seems like it's possible there could have been 2 Justin Fieldses at Georgia as well.
I think they just never removed him for whatever reason. On the 247 ppl listed multiple transfers who still appear. It is possible there’s another though, the name doesn’t seem too uncommon.
