Kansas Game Crowd

And you also talk about student sections that "kill ours". Those schools are full of nerds who like to paint their faces and wear wigs to games. We have done a decent job of keeping those kids out of our student sections.

I was going to play in the pep band, but am a little miffed that even though school is not in session, they're not having the alumni band play. I guess the school only wanted bailing out for all those little games.

I think old man river should re-enroll to show us young punks what a student section is all about.

Didn't I hear that Alabama canceled classes for the bowl game, and yet UT won't be coming back for another week?

Weird.

To stop raising standards to get in to school? It's competitive, that's what makes it great. So are you telling me that there are a lack of students there? I'm pretty sure there are well over 20,000, so I really don't want to hear that.

As for my tampon, I live in Nashville. I was at the game last night, drove back after and was at work at 8am. I'll also be at the game Sunday, and will be at work IN NASHVILLE the next morning, at 8am.

Pretty sure whatever dorm or apartment you live in isn't going to drop you from the fall to spring semester, so quit being lazy and get to the game and cheer on the Vols. If you wanted to go to a school and not go to the games, I think Vandy is still accepting applications.

Ok, let's get this straight. First of all, I'm coming all the way from Ohio. Second of all, I am going to the game, so get the hell off my back. Next, when I was talking about admissions, I was referring to the stricter admission standards affecting what your wonderful descriptive word of "nerdization" of the student section, so learn to interpret what you read.

Lastly, and most importantly, I chose my school purely based off of athletics. I'm paying over $30,000 a year to go to Tennessee when I could have gone somewhere in-state a hell of a lot cheaper. I'm not being lazy, I'm driving over 5 hours to get there when the dorms aren't even open. At least get your facts straight before you complain.

If it's not a true sellout, we should all be embarrassed.

We're playing #1. Let's show America we can come up with a good, loud crowd.

Driving back early tomorrow so I can be there. I will also be waiting for hours outside in the cold to get a good seat, and I will be loud...like I always am.

The students at UT now are WEAK...can't make it back for the Kansas game? Are you kidding me? WEAK. I'm sure I'll hear the, "Oh, but I miss my family so much, I've only been home for 3 weeks now...". WEAK. I'll be there, and fully expect TBA to be a full house, except for of course our student section who can't seem to find a way to take the tampons out...the few students who do support our athletics through and through need to get through to these lost souls...

Note: Using the term, "through", 3 times in one poorly written sentence is unacceptable.

not all the students are UT are weak... btw how many games have you been to this year... ill def. be there but not everyone can get back to UT for small games over break ive been there but not everyone that goes to UT lives in Tn... theyll be plenty of people there for this game so dont get ur panties in a bunch..

I got an email yesterday saying they're opening my dorm at 11 instead of 1 to encourage people to go to the game. I know for fact that myself and at least 25 people I know are going.
