Leave it to a Beak to not understand that your worthless. You nee the state of Missouri, we have never needed you.

*You're.

I am pretty sure that none of KU's Championship banners mention Mizzou. Remember that time Mizzou had its greatest basketball team ever; they failed to win the Big XII Regular Season and lost to a 15 seed in the first round of the tournament.

Enjoy "dragging along" the rest of the SEC.

I like that you two are refusing to meet on the sport you're arguing about.

One's talking what sounds a bit more to be football smack (I take it...possibly two sport) while the other's paying it no heed and responding with basketball smack talk

I have already stated that KU football is pathetic; the Athletic Department made it quite clear that KU is not a football school when they fired Mangino for being tough on the players. Stripes made the statements that KU is a joke; funny coming from a school with just as many football conference championships, two more football wins in the series, and the same amount of national championships (0). Mizzou is moving to a tougher conference, but they surely were not dragging the Big XII along: Texas and OU have been doing that in football for some time now and KU has been doing it in basketball.

Mizzou thinks they have bragging rights in football, but like KU, they have no hardware to show for it.

They are the reason we dont play. Like I stated, we dont need them and they will soon realize that.

I have never stated that we were dragging the "Big XII". I specifically mentioned the local schools (kU, and KSU) that always try to group themselves in with us. You can brag about as many basketball championships as you want, but it must hurt that at the end of the day none of that will mean ****. We see the schools with real value and we see the ones with none. We clearly are on two separate sides of that line.

At the end of the day, 55 conference championships and five undisputed national championships does not hurt one bit.

KU had one really good year in football in which they were beat by Mizzou and took advantage of Mizzou losing in the conference championship game to "politic" it's way into a BCS game (Orange Bowl). That has not sit well with Mizzou fans since it happened.

This. It did not sit well with K-State fans either. I am sure that Mizzou's move to the SEC will make it easier for them to make a BCS bowl game as opposed to:

The Independence Bowl
The Insight Bowl
The Texas Bowl
The Alamo Bowl
The Cotton Bowl
The Sun Bowl

This is Mizzou's glorious bowl experience over the past decade (they only made two bowls in the 90s and then one has to go all the way back to 83 to find another Mizzou showing in the postseason); yet, they act as if they are some elite football program and are so much greater than KU. Neither school has anything to brag about in football; KU fans accept that their football program, aside from one year, is abysmal; Mizzou fans think that their program has dragged along the Big XII.

We have won more Bowl games than you have even been to. By the way I think its hillarious that Weis took the job. That really leads you to wonder the question "Who is more desperate? kansas or Charlie Weis?"

This is true; Mizzou has won 13 of 29 bowl games. KU has won 6 of 12. Of course, KU has won more BCS Bowl games than Mizzou has been to. It does not matter, neither football program has anything to brag about: they both suck, have sucked, and will continue to suck. It is funny watching Mizzou fans delude themselves into thinking they are something great because they won a Nebraska-less Big XII North.

I would say Charlie Weiss. KU would like to have a good football program; however, it is not essential. KU, like Kentucky, UNC, and Duke is perfectly content with being known as a basketball school. The revenue from football would be nice, but it is not crucial.

The BCS Bowls have only been called that for a short period of time. If you want to go back though, we have won the Sugar Bowl and the Orange Bowl before.
