Kansas OG/OT Transfer Ar’maj Reed-Adams

He can't block. Nothing against the kid but he's not sec caliber. I watched him get destroyed by the Iowa guys. Not ideal.
Idk, he’s really bad.
Look I’m not thrilled with it either but he did start against UGA and didn’t give up a hit or sack in 50 snaps. If one of the younger guys can beat him out then that’s great.

He also got smoked the rest of the time he played this yr.

None of us are thrilled but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s not good at all. It is what it is.

It sounds like Ar’maj has a little one on the way in Texas and so that decision makes more sense now. I think when the family spoke that was a much bigger factor in the decision.

Sounds like some people close to him sat him down and told him he needed to get his priorities straight, and good for them. Just goes to show that all our bellyaching and handwringing (I’m as guilty as anyone) lacks a lot of context.
Can’t blame him then. Good man to put family first. Hopefully dancing men in uniforms don’t bother him too much.

Complaining about it everyday isn't going to change it you're just wasting time
Like I said, I’m concerned. I didn’t say we were going 4-8. But we now need 2 starters and basically an entirely new starting OL next year. We likely have our best QB in almost 30 years. Better protect him.

Like I said don't you think the coaches know that. Why concern yourself with the decisions they have to make

I guess our sophomores can’t develop?
^^. Spraggins began starting his sophomore year and he was much less touted than our rising sophomores, and his only other notable offer was Missouri (11 total offers). It’s wild how quickly some forget that Lang, Sham, Johnson are all scholarship rising sophomores that are all viable options for RT and IOL (2/2)

We started James Stone, Zac Fulton, and Ja'Wuan James as true freshman. It can be done

Don't really think those two were high confidence to begin with, but don't let that stop a good "the coaches suck" freak out!
Who has said our coaches suck? Only thing I've said is our portal recruiting for OL has been trash. But overreact all you want.

People have been saying pretty unkind things about Elarbee on the regular lately, and many have said these recruiting failures are exclusively due to coaches performing poorly. I'm not the one overreacting, merely making light of the current narrative.

Gonna push back on that. Those OL were when we had 4 straight losing seasons. So yes, we have plenty of unproven underclassmen. So far, Ellerbe’s high school recruits haven’t started one game.
