the "N" word...heck, look, I'm white, when I was growing up I had more black friends calling me the "N" word than you can imagine...believe it or not it was a form of respect, and friendship...I know it sounds crazy but I'm not kidding, at all, and it was cool...my, how the world has changed...too bad there's so much hate...

GO VOLS...RECRUIT LIKE HECK!

When did I say that? I said most do WHEN IN AN ALTERCATION with a black person. That is different than the entire universe of white people. I was specifically talking about situations when someone white is fighting with someone black. Typically in those hostile interactions that word is used by the white individual to try and hurt the black individual even more. You can't try and act like that doesn't happen.
Been in a lot of those have ya? Enough to establish “typically”? 😉
I'd slap her in the face for putting herself in that situation.

I would raise my daughter better than to put herself in such a situation.
This explains a ton! I guess you are obviously ok with this type of behavior.

Hunt has nobody to blame but himself.

Not slapping your daughter in the face discipline.

If she's going to hotel rooms to try and sleep with random men while also getting into fights with them in the hallway, you best believe I'll slap the hell outta her.

That is ridiculous behavior unbecoming of a respectable woman.

I'm not even responding to D4H on this one. Normally I go along but this is ridiculous. This isn't even a fun troll attempt. This is stupidity.
Iirc he has taken this stance before. Not sure what situation it was. Pretty sure he said if a woman is picking on you then its perfectly okay to hit her.

De’Andre Johnson for sure. Think he dropped it in the Mixon incident also.

Both Kareem and whoever defends him are such pitiful human beings. That woman can not be construed as a legitimate threat to Kareem's security; she's unarmed and any "hit" by her is equivalent to a pestering fly. A real man would have laughed at her attempts to "hit" him.

So you're totally gonna ignore the racist remarks she said?

Saying the "N word" to a black person is the equivalent of getting spit upon. Its the highest form of disrespect. Maybe you let people spit on you and get away with it. But I don't. And I don't expect any man with an ounce of self-respect to do the same.

If you're small and weak, maybe you shouldn't antagonize people much bigger and stronger than you? Small men have figured this out. Maybe its time women did the same.

Since when does discriminatory comments no matter how crude justify violence, especially against such a non threat as a 100 - 120 lbs woman? No man with self-respect thinks of himself so lowly he has to seriously defend himself against a woman. It's essentially admitting you're afraid your face might have a red mark from a slap; it's pure cowardice. The correct response as others have stated is self-restraint by walking away or taking the "hits." He's also perfectly justified in attempting to go back at her with whatever sexist remarks he can think of but don't act like derogatory comments excuses a "man" for attempting to physically hurt a woman. He better thank his lucky stars that his buddies were there to defuse the situation. If it had been only him and her and laid her out, then his life would have been over. The only reason your equivocation of small men and women in this situation makes prima facie sense is because of the weak "men" that believe themselves justified in hitting a woman. If they did as they should then that equivocation falls apart harder than your yearly CFB and NFL predictions.
