What the true crock in all of this is the once a week, this most pathetic congress, calls to the floor one person, one business to vilify and prop themselves up because they can't do it themselves based on merit.

with the Pelosi/Reid led congress' 9% approval rating, they have to lash out at something.

you didn't see Truman and FDR claiming executive privilege every other month during WW2

Truman and FDR didn't have a bunch of socialists running Congress and a media all too willing to call the war a failure.

What the true crock is this is the same congress that just passed the FISA bill which they let lapse. Putting american lives in danger, not because of just or righteous reasons, no they had been taken large sums of money from trial lawyers who wanted a chance to roll the dice and make billions off of Telecom companies. After the courts turned this down, they passed said bill. If this country was ran by the just and righteous, the likes of Pelosi, Dean, Murtha, Reid, and the rest of their ilk would be tried for treason. Bravo Mr. Rove, bravo.

Please post more often! Spot On.

I liked it a lot better when 90% of your posts didn't involve the word socialist.

raising taxes, universal health care and massive wealth redistribution schemes force me to be more pragmatic with how I label leftist loons like Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, et al.

plus board rules prevent more accurate labels

If they do find him guilty of anything, he will get a presidential pardon. That's why he doesn't care.

Isn't Bush the one that proposed a universal drug plan for seniors?

In fairness to Bush, in comparison to Reagan (think Iran Contra), Clinton (think Monica), his administration has been relatively scandal free.

Of course everyone will remember Bush for the Iraq War mess, so it does little to help him.

How many times will you come in here saying Bush sucks? We get it. To not be a lib, you sure sound like one.

I think the Iraq War will be looked upon in a better light in 10 years or so, but I'm just a neocon right?

I don't know that the word "universal" applies . . . He expanded Medicare to provide coverage for prescription drugs.

because nobody asked due to the fact that they knew full well they weren't going to get an answer. Hardcore FOIA use has greatly changed things.

Hell, FDR basically made the rules by which he operated. Today's media would have absolutely eviscerated him.

Your hopeless. I just said in fairness to Bush he had no major scandals in his administration (I didnt consider Libby a major). You read it and accuse me of saying Bush sucks.

I think what's closer to the truth is you defend Bush regardless of what his record is. I voted for him and I can admit what a disappointment he is.

a plan which I didn't agree with or support, so don't try to pin me down with something like that. I don't like government expansion regardless of who proposes it.

Because he has been targeted by the extreme left in this country. There are many in congress and elsewhere who have dried to drag him through the mud and rake him over the coals during a very touchy period in our history. While I do not agree with some of what he has done it is pretty amazing we have fared pretty well.

It probably wouldn't add up to 5 percent of the liberals/socialists suck post so get over it. If you want a pure 100 percent conservative board where everyone has a cupcake party agreeing all the time than look for it elsewhere. Hell, it's almost that way already.

I don't care if you disagree constantly, just bring something worthwhile as an alternative while you're whining about the current administration.

Instead of dissing Congress - FDR preferred to dismantle and rebuild the Judiciary -- it was a more efficient way to use executive power!
