So I can remember EL stating Kavanaugh had the judicial experience to serve. And now that we’re on the eve of the confirmation he’s gotten in line with the character assassination narrative.

I thought he was a decent candidate until I started paying more attention. No wonder they don't want all these documents to come out. He's a liar. His really odd exchange with Senator Harris where he struggled with answers about whether he discussed the Mueller probe "uh, uh I'm not remembering, but I'm happy to be refreshed or if you want to tell me who you're thinking of." It's very obvious that we have a SCOTUS nominee who's lying to Congress and on multiple occasions. Perfect for "Crazytown", though.

You know why she won’t refresh his memory right ? All that was between those two was Harris had a gotcha plan but couldn’t mention any names because the files couldn’t be made public and he knew she was trying to set him up and he just put it back on her . Half of the Q&A were traps on one side with the other side stepping around them . Happens every time it’s not a new thing

He was right on in not answering Harris. Let her ask a direct question with a specific individual. She was fishing. He wouldn’t bite.

It is a hit piece. The 2003 letter vs now - things have changed with rulings reaffirming Roe in the last 15 years. Thus it's state of "settledness" has changed. Further, the letter didn't state whether he himself viewed it as settled - he stated that not all legal scholars view it as settled and 3 current (at the time justices did not). He was stated facts at the time; not his personal view on the matter. This is not lying in any form or fashion.

On Bill Pryor this was not one of the judges going forward under his purview. As a member of the WH legal team he might have seen documents or been asked a question but he was not involved in vetting him, bringing him forward, devising strategy for confirmation etc. If you interpret "involved" as in did he have knowledge of and possibly make a comment about Pryor then you also have to say he was involved in every single aspect of the Bush administration during his time there. Clearly involvement was interpreted to mean materially involved which he was not.

On the stolen documents he repeatedly has maintained he had no knowledge they were obtained illegally. There is no proof otherwise. Leahy tried his best to make a case he "should have known" and attempted to use that as evidence K. lied when he said he didn't know. It's ridiculous.

I'd like to say I'm surprised that the Editorial Board as a unit signed on to this but it's the reality of our increasingly biased media. It's pretty shameful to attempt to slander the character of a person with such weak sauce.

Democratic Sen. Cory Booker accused Wall Street Journalreporter Byron Tau of violating the U.S. Constitution with a question on Thursday’s misleading remarks about releasing “confidential” emails concerning Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.


“Democrats knew full well that the documents that Booker and Hirono released this morning were no longer confidential, according to D+R lawmakers and aides,” Tau tweeted Thursday afternoon. “I asked @CoryBooker if his remarks in committee were a stunt. He told me I violating the constitution by being in his way.”

LOS ANGELES TAXPAYERS HAD BEEN FOOTING THE BILL FOR KAMALA HARRIS’ TRAVELS, REPORT FINDS

Los Angeles taxpayers had been paying for Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris of California’s travel expenses, even while she was outside the city of Los Angeles.

A report first obtained by NBC News details hotels, rental cars, airline tickets, meals and security for more than twelve trips totaling over $28,000. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) had also provided the senator security with armed officers in plain-clothes accompanying her throughout the state of California.

LAPD frequently grants security to officials who visit Los Angeles, however, the LAPD protection that Harris received while outside of it’s jurisdiction was unusual, reported NBC Los Angeles.
