Kavanaugh Confirmation

Kavanaugh report's biggest bombshells: Grassley probe reveals details behind mistaken identity claims, more

Weeks after Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation -- and the sexual assault allegations against him -- captured the country's attention, the Senate Judiciary Committee has released a massive report on those accusations that's largely flown under the radar in the run-up to the midterms.

But the 414-page document, authored by the Republican majority and released over the weekend, contains a number of key revelations.

Among them: the report summarizes a statement from a man who believes he may have been involved in an encounter with Christine Blasey Ford around the time of her claim of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh. Some of this emerged during the Supreme Court confirmation process, but the report provides more details.

Good report, I’m wondering why in the face of such an amassed amount of info that Ford lied at least 2 times under sworn testimony, why was she not charged?

WaPo Insists Putting Kavanaugh Coaching Story Under ‘Public Safety’ Tag Was An Accident. It’s Still There.

On Tuesday, The Washington Post published an article titled “Brett Kavanaugh worried that scandal would end his coaching days. Now the Supreme Court justice is back on the basketball court.”

The post itself, as The Daily Wire reported, was pretty bland, but the article was placed under the Post’s “Public Safety” tag, giving the impression that Kavanaugh coaching his daughter’s basketball team was somehow a threat to the public.

On Wednesday, The Hill’s Joe Concha reached out to the Post to ask about the tag, and wrote about the exchange:

Doesn’t this make all the uproar seem foolish now ? The protesters s reaming and crying that he would take away their rights . This is why the pus*yhat March looks so ridiculous now after screeching about Trump taking their right away. How many rights have they lost so far ? These political protest planners use people and their emotional hyper state to protest things most of us know won’t in all likelihood happen . Now if RBG gets replaced by a right leaning conservative , you can worry .

Even if that happens the only thing that might change is abortion becomes a states rights issue.

I thought I was very fair with Kavanaugh? I can't, and won't, speak for the loosely alleged rapey stuff, that isn't my concern. He ruled in favor of something I support. Just saying it surprised me.

And they should absolutely protest everything that this President does because he will take away far more rights than just what liberals are concerned with. You might be a pussy hat yourself eventually.

What has he taken away for you to protest against so far ?

Edit : no matter what any politician does ( ever ) I will Not be a pink hat wearer . My toxic masculinity won’t allow me to degrade myself like that .

The system is working so far. The whole thing can fall apart in a second. That scumbag is pushing it to the absolute limits.

I’ve told you before and you’re starting to see it....this moron isn’t the worst I’ve seen in my lifetime. We will survive this guy with no problem. We will be fine and bitching about the next guy in either 2 or 6 years. I’m guessing 6 because I’m actually better off now than I was 3-7 years ago and so are you.
If that continues Trump will be re-elected.

During the Clinton years they used to say “it’s the economy, stupid”
