Kayden Salter playing for Liberty in bowl now

I noticed Salters helmet seemed to sit high on his head..I've noticed that with other players.
Looks like someone added another layer of foam in the top.

I think the 60's Afro style is back and adds height. Years ago, I remember announcers saying 7' 2" Jacksonville State Center Artis Gilmore measured 7' 8" to top of his hair.

Yep, but his players are. Freeze won’t win jack at Auburn this infatuation with this guy is rediculous.

What does “his players” have to do with Freeze being trash because “they” lost once he is gone?

Liberty became FBS in 2018. Freeze came in their 2nd year and got them to 8-5 including bowl win. Along his 4 year run at the newly FBS school Liberty never won fewer than 8 games, including 4 wins vs Power 5 teams, and his teams were in 3 bowls and won 3 bowls (4 now without him coaching).

Other than controversy what’s not to like (about what he accomplished at Liberty)?

They played a whole bunch of teams who weren’t brand new to FBS……right?

I stated they beat 4 FBS teams but meant to say they beat 4 power 5 teams.

If your new to FBS and you win 8 games or more every year and you beat power 5 schools……your doing something right……and your definitely playing someone….especially given your own level.

They arent supposed to.

They beat Arkansas and BYU

Arkansas 25th most talent in the nation.
BYU 76th.
UAB 97th
Akron 99th
Old Dominion 111th
Liberty 139th.

He won a bunch of games he "shouldnt" have.

And yes there are only 131 FBS teams, liberty is behind at least 8 FCS programs in talent and still went 8-4.

8-5 and outside of beating a very mediocre Arkansas team which is his best win at Liberty, he has done nothing that has been impressive. There’s a reason no sane program would hire him as a coach

It’s not 1982. It’s a lot easier to beat lower P5 programs while at G5 or even FCS schools. Liberty beating Arkansas or ETSU beating Vandy or Miami OH beating Northwestern is hilarious but not some amazing impossible thing.
