On the most recent 247 podcast, they indicated that the plan appears to be sit the rest of the year and try for a medical so he can be a Vol in 2024.

I think he will come back next year with some NIL and may end up in a coaching. From what I've heard he's a great leader and knows the game inside out.

Doubt he'll get another medical. Had one already and will be in his SEVENTH year. Highly unlikely. PLUS, the staff will need to know 100%, one way or the other, from NCAA by Dec portal deadline. And we ALL KNOW, that aint happening. My guess is Heupel may ask him to walk on with NIL and see what the NCAA says later. Theyll need to fill his spot and cant afford to wait, IMO.
