What 26 year old married man doesn’t want the excuse that he HAS to go play ball instead of doing his chores?
Elijah Herring has really came along nicely, after being pushed into the role due to Pili's injury! Having Arion Carter is also a huge Plus! We'll be fine with or without Pili's return, but I'd definitely love to see what he can do in Tn Orange!Indeed. If he comes back, our linebacker depth next year will be veeery nice.
Doubt he'll get another medical. Had one already and will be in his SEVENTH year. Highly unlikely. PLUS, the staff will need to know 100%, one way or the other, from NCAA by Dec portal deadline. And we ALL KNOW, that aint happening. My guess is Heupel may ask him to walk on with NIL and see what the NCAA says later. Theyll need to fill his spot and cant afford to wait, IMO.
We are deep and young at backer telander Carter perry and herring have all got a lot of reps and show promise… tack on the freshman class we have coming in I think We can afford to wait and see with KP either way the future is bright on rocky top.Doubt he'll get another medical. He redshirted his freshman year at BYU, but it wasn’t medical. He just didn’t play because he wasn’t ready. So he is eligible to apply for a medical redshirt.Doubt he'll get another medical. Maybe procedures have changed, and that would explain Campbell technically having another season available, but in the past if you conventionally redshirted without a medical reason being cited, your chances of receiving an additional year was almost nil...see Jerry Colquitt and Marcus Jackson. He redshirted his freshman year at BYU, but it wasn’t medical. not arguing its likely, as its up to the NCAA to determine and generally speaking is denied more than granted, just that he hasn’t already received a medical redshirt before as was previously posted in the post I quotedMaybe procedures have changed, and that would explain Campbell technically having another season available, but in the past if you conventionally redshirted without a medical reason being cited, your chances of receiving an additional year was almost nil...see Jerry Colquitt and Marcus Jackson.
