Did that get you a little choked up like it did me? Wow. In this day and age of the transfer portal and $$$, it's refreshing to see a true VFL and a part of college football is still good.

Hate that for a guy who seemed to do everything the right way. Maybe Heupel will have him a spot as a Ga or something if the NFL isn't in the cards

Does he not have a shot at the NFL? I am not 100% up to date on the injury but was it a career killer?

I don’t care who he’s played for in the past, that young man is ALL Vol, 100%. Loved his time here and if the Good Lord is willing, he may get another year. Great leader on D with a winners mindset. Whatever happens from this point forward, he’ll do well because that’s who he is as a man, a winner.

Idk. Definitely talented enough but he's getting older and has had season-ending injuries 2 years in a row. I could see a lot of teams not wanting to take the risk.

Hooker got drafted and gifted his rookie season to finish healing. Pili has shown enough talent on the field at UT and BYU, and with his character and work ethics I feel he may get the same chance.

Fortunately for him it was two different injuries. Son has a close friend back in GA that had 19 D1 offers at TE. Chose ND. Playing special teams as true freshman and tore ACL. Got healed up for the '22 season, Kelly had left for LSU and he got buried on the depth chart under Freeman. ND carries an inordinate amount of TE's. So, he transferred to Coastal Carolina and tore same ACL 2nd time that same spring and missed the '23 season. In what should be his junior year of playing I think, he is just now getting some actual playing time. And he was one of the Top 3 or higher rated TE's in the Class of '21. Probably won't ever play the same again cause tearing same ACL twice will always be in back of his head.

Wow, what a guy. He is all class and one heck of a football player. As sad as it is that his career is most likely over, God may have bigger &better plans for him. God bless you Keenan! You always have a home in Big Orange Country.

That sucks man. But yeah lucky for Pili they are different injuries but I could see teams question if he's just injury prone and he's a little older so that may hurt him as well. Best of luck to both of them though
