Fortunately for him it was two different injuries. Son has a close friend back in GA that had 19 D1 offers at TE. Chose ND. Playing special teams as true freshman and tore ACL. Got healed up for the '22 season, Kelly had left for LSU and he got buried on the depth chart under Freeman. ND carries an inordinate amount of TE's. So, he transferred to Coastal Carolina and tore same ACL 2nd time that same spring and missed the '23 season. In what should be his junior year of playing I think, he is just now getting some actual playing time. And he was one of the Top 3 or higher rated TE's in the Class of '21. Probably won't ever play the same again cause tearing same ACL twice will always be in back of his head.Idk. Definitely talented enough but he's getting older and has had season-ending injuries 2 years in a row. I could see a lot of teams not wanting to take the risk.
That sucks man. But yeah lucky for Pili they are different injuries but I could see teams question if he's just injury prone and he's a little older so that may hurt him as well. Best of luck to both of them thoughFortunately for him it was two different injuries. Son has a close friend back in GA that had 19 D1 offers at TE. Chose ND. Without the injuries he was an NFL prospect no doubt but with a wife and kid on the way . Wut wo time to go get a real job. It happens to the best of us. God bless him and his growing family.Wow, what a guy. He is all class and one heck of a football player. As sad as it is that his career is most likely over, God may have bigger &better plans for him. God bless you Keenan! You always have a home in Big Orange Country.
