Not caring what you all cry about in here and not caring about what goes on in the world are two completely separate things. Know the difference. Thanks.
Besides, you all have proven time and time again that you have no interest in what us Dems have to say in here. So enjoy beating yourselves up. I just come in here when I need a laugh or need to roll my eyes because there's something in them.

When someone ask you a legitimate question, you don't answer. It would seem that you are the one with the closed mind. Not caring what you all cry about in here and not caring about what goes on in the world are two completely separate things. Know the difference. Thanks.

Well? So, you support this type of action by the current POTUS?
You feel that this is the direction America needs to take?
I would say it at least borders on an attempt to stifle free speech. One could argue that the chance an email you write about universal healthcare might be reported to the WHITE HOUSE (not just some random fact checker) could influence whether you write said email.
First, what do you have to worry about even if it gets reported...and second, I don't think it will stifle anything anyway. Honestly, what happens if this thread, or this political forum gets reported? Not a damn thing, and that's why no one here gives a rats arse about making it known what they think about this administration and the healthcare disaster it is pushing.
Look at these townhall meetings and healthcare protests, do you really think they care about this administration knowing what they are doing? They are there in person, practicing their first admendment rights...and now we are saying this stifles free speech in anonymous emails?

I said it "borders" on stifling free speech, and if you can't at least admit that then you are not looking at this issue with an open mind.
And again, I say it doesn't matter. What is actually unconstitutional or illegal about it? Nothing? Great, then continue b1tching for the sake of b1tching.
I agree that most people would not give a rats arse if their email raising legitimate concerns was reported. However I could also see how some people may think twice about writing an email criticizing universal healthcare if they think it may be reported to the f'ing white house. For these people, the white house is stifling free speech by intimidating them from speaking their mind.
How is that supposed to be the problem of the whitehouse? Nobody is stopping them, and they have nothing to worry about.
Is there anything illegal or unconstitutional about this? This is a legitimate question, because I read through everything and I didn't find anything about being put on a "list" of any sort. The only thing being asked for is information being spread around via emails and rumors. Why even care about this?
There are legitimate reasons to hate where this administration is going with issues like healthcare, taxes, and spending. I agree with OWB to a point here, this just seems like another excuse to b1tch and whine.
I don't see the big deal. You get some email trashing or praising health insurance reform send it in for validation. No biggie. A lot of crooks out there can use electronic media to spread an untrue rumor. Send it to an email for verification of authenticity.
Makes much more sense then being told "Just believe me".

care to explain what you mean by "validation" and "verification of authenticity"? The last time I checked, the 1st Amendment doesn't require a filter provided by the White House.
But yet this is exactly what we are being asked to do with Obama. Even after he has shredded just about every other promise or pledge he has made.
On top of that he had one of his people tell the American people that they can't trust what they hear with their own ears. The tape in question was an unedited speech in which he was advocating for single payer (government run) health care.
Speaking of that tape can anyone back up the claims that it was unedited?
