Keith Law’s Draft Projections UT edition

I think their list is fairly solid. Things are definitely fluid, but I believe Dickey will be somewhere in the 100-150 range. Depends on team needs and who is available. The draft is a crap shoot.
position strapped for him. That will be his demise draft wise imo.

This will be fluid and potentially change dramatically depending on source, but here’s one MLB projection:
Top 10 pick Dollander
Top 75 pick Dickey
Top 100 pick Ahuna
Top 175 pick Lindsey
Top 200 pick Halvorsen

Source: Prospects Live

Halvorsen would be a steal at +/- 200, I don't disagree based on his injuries last year, but the kid can deal. The same goes for Lindsey.........

Do Andrew Lindsey and Seth Halvorsen have eligibility next year, if they don't enter draft. I guess we might need to move Burns back to the rotation (with Beam and Russell) if Lindsey and Halvorsen are gone.

Lindsey does. I don’t think Halverson does but I could be wrong.

I think Burns really wants to start next year, rite now he is enjoying his role as the shutdown closer. Next year will be his draft year and the big money in MLB is the big time starter, now he could close next year and get drafted and probably go back to starting in Minors. The fast track to bigs I think for him is showing he can be that number one starter for his team dollars will roll in for him if he can.

If he goes back to starter and does well next year then his value skyrockets because he has shown he can do either and he has elite stuff.

Lindsey won’t come back. He’s 23. He’ll sign with whoever drafts him.

I think you nailed the weekend starters (Burns, Russell, & Beam), unless UT get a big arm out of the portal.

it is obvious his arm angle is down and pitches are coming in flatter, no movement up and in. I can tell by watching his wind up/motion if it is going to bite or if it is not. I can not see why Anderson does not see it as well. He has 2 release points one good and one not as good.

haha. I think they call this the Dunning-Kruger effect.

You would be shocked at the technology and sensors available today for measuring biomechanics and pitch movement.

If you think you've stumbled on to some secret Anderson doesn't know, it should not be hard to identify your place on the graph.

Poor Zander never going to get a chance for the weekend?
I dont think Zander is bad by any means, but the couple times he's faves better competition he hasn't fared well. I remember last years SEC tournament championship Florida hit him hard.
