I’m not going today suga - I know that breaks your heart. 😉

Besides the time you were sitting in front of me, another time, you were sitting on one side of @Smallvol#1 and I was on the other and you didn’t even know it. 😎

You never know where I’ll be! 😁

I wish you had. I had the pleasure(?) of sitting with a man who claimed to be Kellie's HS coach.
...Kellie was coached by her now deceased father.

Next time that guy might want to use Google.

He could have been an assistant coach, Jumper. One could still say “I coached Kellie Jolly” if he was an assistant. Or maybe he coached her in what then, in Tennessee, we called “junior high,” now middle school.

I hoe you're right. It'd be sad otherwise

Wait, one guy was claiming to have coached the coach and the next guy was making secret eye contact with the players, cuz they read this board and know about him. Jeeze, hope I don't ever sit in that section!

Until got home and looked in Google, I didn't know of this either.
Sad, though, for the whole game, I thought I was sitting nest to someone I could talk about,
not "talk" about

Well dang. You know I love a good callin’ out! 😆 You may have had more fun sitting by me after all! 😁

I looked on line everywhere, volshop, alumni hall, UTK bookstore, fanatics for the blue long sleeve lady Vol warm up shirt the Kellie is wearing in the attached interview. I would like to get some for me, my daughter and grand daughters. Any suggestion would be appreciated

I doubt it. You have done nothing but insult him at every turn.

That is hilarious coming from someone who’s made fun of and insulted a lot of people on here and I’ve not forgotten the insulting comment you made toward my son who’s never done a thing to you and worked his tail off for the Lady Vols.

You are nothing but an instigator and a bitter old sourpuss. Mind your business! 😤

Well, now I didn’t think about this...

At a glance, this appears to be some of the Nike team issued gear that’s not available to everyone. Being that it’s not in the Vol Shop (I tried looking too.) I’m betting that is the case.

BUT - you could try emailing the Vol Shop and ask them to be sure. Here’s their address: volshop@utk.edu .

Good luck!

It seems that Kellie is growing into her role along with tbe team.

Fun to watch this program making the incremental steps necessary to get back to the top tier of the SEC and become a national force again. The inevitable "one step back" still occurs (as predicted), but the entire program is on the rise.

A strong showing this season will have to impress recruits. A legendary program, talented teammates, supportive staff, immediate playing opportunities, top-notch facilities, and a stellar fan base...what's not to like?

And how many other major universities have their court named after the women's coach?

Then why doesn't she use her timeouts to teach and coach, every winning coach in the women's game does, and some of that carelessness would stop
Harper does teach at timeouts. She has the board out and gets on it. She also pulls players out the game and coaches them up and puts them back in immediately, especially Horston. On the sidelines during play and free throws, she’s instructing the players. Whether or not they always follow instructions is another story. Davis said in a presser that they are a much better team when they do what Harper tells them to do.

Bought in!! For the first time in so, so long, at least it appears that this team is all in on the coach and her system. Having lived thru the nightmare the last few years, this alone makes this season a success.
