morris never coached bryant. there is probably some familiarity from recruiting, but you could say that about a lot of coaches.

He never coached him but Bryant committed to Clemson while Morris was still there. Morris also coached his cousin Martavis.

I’d say UT would be way down his list of options.
One year to play, he wants to go to an established winner.

David Pollack says KB changed his mind about the new transfer rule and is now against it...

...because college football is so much better off with KB finishing his career on the bench?

Recently demoted. Missed practice for Clemson on Tuesday. He could redshirt this year and transfer immediately somewhere. If so he’s going to immediately upgrade someone’s team at the QB spot.
Florida would be an absolutely perfect landing spot for Bryant

UF would have plenty of good WR talent for him to throw to

Trevon Grimes
Freddie Swain
Tyrie Cleveland
Kadarious Toney
Jacob Copeland
Etc

The USA Today article you posted disagrees with your premise that the new transfer rules are “stupid”.

In fact at one point the article states the transfer rules don’t go far enough.

You sabotaged your own argument. Congrats.

It's my "opinion" the transfer rules are stupid. Just as it's "USA Today's opinion" the rules dont go far enough.
You're welcome

Yes, thank you for making an argument, then posting a link to an article contradicting your argument....unsolicited....

Impeccable logic....debate team All-American over here. :D

Dabo making a mistake here. Dabo had been dang near perfect as a young head coach, but he is botching this. As much as they run read option, and RPO, if Lawrence gets hurt, their national title chance is gone.

Let Lawrence wait his turn and let Bryant run this offense. He is very capable. If Bryant goes down, you have Lawrence.

I said the exact same thing when I initially read the news. I think Bryant is a much better fit. And he could easily sell Lawrence on getting a series or two pr half but continue to use Bryant as the starter

Plus, just like last year with bama. Bryant stinks it up at the end of the year, you have Lawrence you can bring in. Same as the hurts tua swap.

If Chryst had won the starting job in pre season and come out blazing throwing 75% completion bombing td's we'd all love the rule.

Dabo is the first coach to face a major transfer but he will be far from the last. Not sure the coaches knew what they agreed to.
