Ken Griffey Jr. Retires

About 6 or 7 years ago they had already anointed him the all time home run king based on what he had done and was doing at the time. I wonder if he just lost his passion for the Game? Still yet, one of my favorite players.

Funny, other than a couple of cameo milestone home run appearances, I could have sworn he retired before the 2000 season.

I've had no use for him after some comments he made about the St. Louis fans in 2000 because we wouldn't get down on both knees and open our mouth when he came to town that season. He single-handedly set the Reds franchise back about 7 years though, so I suppose I should thank him for that.
