Yes, & I read that he refused "Walk-ons" at Tech...truly a mystery, since the Golden Eagles need any & all help. I'm a Tech grad, so I'm used to football futility.
Yeah this was the TT head coach's 2nd game. They lost to Chattanooga 34-10 in the 1st game This is the 4th season for KSU head coach Brian Bohannon.
I think Brian Bohannon will be hired for a bigger college head coaching job in the next 2-3 seasons. I could see him replacing Paul Johnson at Georgia Tech when he retires in 2020 or 2021 which would make sense because Brian Bohannon runs the triple option offense like Paul Johnson and he was an assistant of his at Navy and GT.Was watching game when the announcers called Bohannon, KSU coach, by name. I'm 53 now. I remember this little squirt in HS cause he was the then very young son of the long time Griffin coach, my HS coach at the time.

DE Andrew Butcher(The Tennessee transfer to KSU) has been playing well for Kennesaw State. I think KSU will be in the Sunbelt Conference by 2022Yes. Lot's of connection there. Johnson plucked out of his first paid coaching gig after a year at Gardner-Webb and has carried him everywhere he's been since. Provided GT wants to stay with the triple. Maybe it was just me not paying much attention since KSU seemed to score so quickly, but is KSU a full triple option, or do they have spread abilities as well.
There was a UT transfer on KSU's roster playing last night as well. They seem to be recruiting quite well. A lot of leftover D1 Georgia talent that don't get picked up. These are not typical FCS recruits that are 2* at best.

I think Appalachian State could very well move to CUSA and there would be an opening for KSU in the Sunbelt Conference.I'm sure they have to pay their dues, but I'm curious of their long term opportunities for FBS conferences other than Sunbelt given their size and proximity to top level recruits. The infrastructure of a 35,000 student university is vast. They have success in other sports, and is a pretty good school. They are easily the 3rd leg in the state now behind GA and GT. I think they roll GA Southern any day of the week.
