And he didn't wait for Coach K to offer when he could have stayed uncommitted for a while.

So he's gonna play PF then.. im sure that will make Wooldrige move down to the 3 then..

A lot of time before we have to make those kind of decisions. However, don't be suprised to see Woolridge and Hall at the 4 and five respectively in the future either, especially if Hall bulks up to 230+. They have a lot of length and the way CBP loves athleticism in the frontcourt it's a likely possibility.

Hall was interviewed on Sportstalk tonight and said that he will probably still take other visits.

That is the only thing that I do not understand about recruits. Why would you verbal to the school of your choice if you are still undecided or wanting to take other visits. Idk, it just doesn't make much sense to me. Nonetheless, I can't wait to see Kenny in orange and he is going to be a great player.

Fall signing period begins in early November. Not sure of the exact date yet. The earliest Kenny Hall can sign with the Vols is November of this year.

Here's what a guy on volchat that has seen Hall play many of times had to say about him. He is a writer for the AJC i believe.
"I'm not certain about "far and away" but, yes, the consensus is that Favors is the best player in the state (not just the ATL), regardless of class. From what I've seen (and I haven't seen everybody), I certainly wouldn't disagree with that.

Right now, from what I've seen, Hall isn't close to Favors. The biggest difference is defense. Favors is a much more aggressive, polished defender. They're almost the same in size, but Favors has shown the ability to dominate the game even if he isn't scoring. He nearly averaged a triple-double this past season while playing in one of the state's toughest regions. Hall, OTOH, averaged only 2.4 blocks despite his size and length. That's where I think Hall has the most improvement to make. When the two teams played in November, Favors basically overpowered Hall, holding him to 3 points (1-6 FG, 1-5 FT) and 6 rebounds. Hall is definitely better than that, but that gives you an idea.

On offense, they're closer, but Favors still gets the edge. Hall does have very good footwork around the basket and an array of moves. He's solid with the ball in his hands and will score 20+ consistently. Hall also runs the floor rather well for a guy his size, I'd say better than Favors. What Favors might lack in flat-out speed, he more than makes up for in quickness, agility and strength. He's almost impossible for any high school players to guard one-on-one and averaged well over 20 points despite seeing double and triple teams almost every time he got the ball, it seemed.

In the end, I really like both players. You could, perhaps, call Hall a "Poor Man's Favors," if you will. But I also think it might be fair to say Hall has more room to grow, both physically and as a player. If he really works on his game over the next year or so, he can be a lot better than he is today by the time he arrives in Knoxville. And he's already a first-team All-State guy with what I'd consider a bit of an unfinished product.
