Kentucky #10 Nationally in Football...

Not to be a hater but they picked up (1) 4 star and (3) 3 stars per Rivals not (3) 4 stars back to Back to Back. They can only sign 22 players in 2014 so they will not finish in the top 20 with a 3.29 average per Committ and only 22 Committs.

Barker, Snodgrass, and maybe Ware are the only Big time recruits that they have on board. I am not that sold on West from what I have seen. They will probably pick up the big DT Elam from their home state. The rest of their class is filled with kids with offers from Toledo, Ohio, Bowling Green, and Akron.

They are picking up alot of recruits from Ohio but between now and National Signing Day I would expect Urban Meyer to take away whom ever he wants out of Ohio. I don't think people are as impressed with the quality of the recruits that they have picked up as much as they are the quantity.

lets also focus on them having a very unproven Coaching staff. The head Coach has never Coached his first game as a Head Coach. Defensive Coordinator was a Defensive End Coach. Neil Brown is a Very good Offensive Coordinator but due to graduation and 3 WR's leaving the team I think the air raid might be grounded. Stoops Poops!

Nothing like it! A Dog with a calendar

Nothing like a hayseed keeping up with recruiting rankings 4 months after the last signing class. Come signing day, everything will look totally different. And lots of recruits will flip.

Years down the road they can say, I was part of the best recruiting class in UK history...and we still sucked. I just think some of these players do not think the process out, you want to play football for who?

How has this thread not been moved to the NCAA forum? This is not Tennessee recruiting, it's a Kentucky thread.

I think UT has offered only one of their current verbals. This is probably the classic star ratings don't really mean squat at the end of the day.

On a side note:

James Franklin is really pissed off at this news and this thread.

Taking off my orange shaded glasses for a moment. As much as I hate to admit it, the usual past and present doormats of the SEC, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Auburn, Miss St and Anchordores are all getting better recruiting classes now. It's gonna be dog eat dog soon. Worst team in SEC may be 6-6. Probably one good reason I won't favor playing a 9 game SEC schedule. If your good enough, you play 9 anyway counting the SEC Championship game.

i hear ya man. but i still am not convinced UK will finish strong. i still think they finish around 30-35. Thats being generous.they wont be in the top 30 with that star average.Auburn is not a doormat. they have a lot of talent that hasnt been coached or developed well just like UT.As for Vandy, i dont think they will have the magical year like they all believe. Might cause them to dip a little in rankings.Just My opinion.

Gotta love how UK's recruiting seems to be stuck on top of a Tennessee board. Will never understand it.

"I have an idea, let's spend the next week talking about Kentucky"!

Their class will still end up no higher than the 20-25 range and towards the bottom of the SEC. They are rated high right now because they have so many more commits than most of the schools below them (and yes I know the same can be said about Tennessee) at this point.

Looking forward they aren't in on the type of undecided guys that most of the other SEC schools are. They've pretty much landed all the guys they've been leaders for.

Their class is being built around Ohio guys that OSU and Michigan didn't go after. You wont win anything big in the SEC if those are your cornerstone guys like they are for UK. I still cant believe Horton is rated a 4-star by anyone.
