I'm not even go to bother watching the two games against UK this year - if we all thought the two blowouts and the 54-point performance was embarrassing... just wow.

How in the freakin' world can you guard John Wall/Bledsoe/Meeks/Patterson/Cousins? They're better than us at every single position and better by a lot... Bruce's squad is going to get raped. Raped.

You can say that about every team in the SEC...so I don't feel so bad.

Yeah - it's just depressing watching them go from a pathetic NIT team (who spanked us twice) to the preseason #1 team in the country in about 4 months.

"Rape" is actually a pretty good descriptor of what we can expect. And it will be a brutal raping, at that.

They will be a top ten team and will compete for a national title. But dont 4get that talent is just part of a national championship team, chemistry is the other. It will be hard to get all these superstars their touches, I guess we can wait and see.

They will be the preseason #1 team in the country... #2 at the worst - not just top 10.

Kansas will obviously have more experience which warrants consideration - but UK's talent will be quite a bit better than what Kansas will put on the floor.

I don't really think players like the Morris twins and Morningstar are that great - atleast compared to what UK will have. I forgot that Henry signed with KU though. Is Collins returning?

I like UK's front court more - I'm sure Kansas has better depth at this point though and if Collins is returning then I'd say the back courts are about equal if these freshman for both sides live up to the hype.

^^^^^^^this

KU is who I'm putting money on to win it all.

I don't think I'd ever put money on someone to win it all in college basketball (atleast a respectable amount) - especially this year. Don't think KU will be as good as the top 3 or 4 teams from last year.

Not really.

Agreed. Kansas returning experience and talent PLUS Xavier Henry equals the #1 team in America... until proven otherwise.

Don't forget folks that your still talking about a bunch of freshmen, outside of meeks and patterson.

I was just looking at there roster if Meeks returns there second five would contend for SEC east title. Bledsoe, Dodson Hood or Harris, with Orton and Pilgram or Stevenson. This is unreal lineup for you thats 12 deep. I think KU with Collins and Xavier Henry coming in will be the best in the nation with UK right behind them.

I think KU will have the beat college PG and best post player in the country. That's a decided advantage over KY for me.

I always chose one team to win it all before the season and bet 50 bucks on them. It's paid off before. 2007 I was a homer (and greedy) and took Tennessee when we were at 35:1. *shrug* Oh well.
