Mitch should definitely be scolded for that. But Mitch has done a lot of good for this university, so I can't see why I would blame him for Stoops' failure.

UF is good, not great. That is what is frustrating. We let a good team run us straight over. We let a good, not great QB, make us look clueless. Pretty much from the kickoff we looked outmatched and overwhelmed. It's extremely frustrating that we get blown out after the last two years having great chances to beat the worst UF teams in a long time.

There's only one great team in our league, and they don't play home games in Gainesville or Knoxville.

And UK didn't "let" anything happen. UF dictated the pace and flow of the game for 60 minutes.

"Let" is open for interpretation.

Did we go out there 'allowing', UF to beat us so easily? No. But did we show any sort of fight, any sort of ability to respond to getting punched in the face? No. I saw a lot of bad body language, confused coaches, and downright depressing play on the field.

Credit UF, they played well, and deserved the win. Just don't be so defensive when UF won't get that credit from other fans, because UK was clearly lost out there regardless of the opponent.

After 30 straight, does UF really need credit from UK?

Your team quit, we kept playing. Had UK chosen to compete (other than #34 on defense who balled out) the outcome would not have changed.

Absolutely we gave up. Typical UK performance sadly. We suck.

I don't want anything...and UF is anything but a national title contender. Another East title appears to be our ceiling for 2016.

I simply questioned your post suggesting UK "let" or "allowed" UF to do anything.

UF dominated from start to finish, and there was next to nothing UK could do about it even if they wanted to.

UK showed no fight, no effort to respond once UF smacked them. That's mainly what I address when I say "let". You're not stupid enough to think I'm saying UK let UF win.

My biggest issue, and this is far bigger than the UF game, is that we look lost the field. Like you've alluded to though, I'm pretty sure if we had played well, we still would have been beat by a lot. UF was on point. That said, it sure helps when we keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

I just got an email from the Central Florida Gator Alumni club about buses from Orlando to Gainesville for the Kentucky game.

The irony though is it is a UK/UF thread even if it is on your board. I would like feedback from others than my own team's fans. Kind of like being at a ballgame and people from different seats see things differently.

I'm just not sure why it's a big deal. I'm sure you're not dumb enough to think I'm saying UK literally let UF win. You're just being ultra-sensitive and argumentative for no reason.

Once UF started gashing us, I saw no adjustments, no fight, nothing...just continual abysmal play and coaching. UF deserves that credit for smashing us.
