Kentucky Basketball

Plenty of the Cal recruits have commented on the love they have for UK. Most of them have come back and participated in the program again.

I don't think it's a lack of caring. I see it more as a lack of focus.

Both of you are somewhat right and have points, but don't over analyze things. It comes down to the simple fact that this team does not have "glue guys", upper class men (or exceptions such as Davis or MKG) that make this team work.

When the bottom falls out, all of these guys look at each other dumbfounded as to what to do. There is no center of gravity for this team

You're right hardwood. We just plain suck the more I think about it.

We can't shoot consistently. We don't have an inside threat (WCS needs to work a lot. Johnson has potential but is still raw). Randle gets doubled constantly and we can't take advantage.

But runs like the 16-0 one we had vs. UF give me hope.

The best way I can possibly describe UK's team this year, is that it compares to watching Usain Bolt drop a grenade on his foot, then try to run a race.

UK will win the SEC tournament and make the final 4.

Am I serious? I don't know, am I?

I'm guessing no one else has seen the pitch Cal is making this week in the local media, that he made a "tweak" to the offense and it's gonna be lights out this weekend.

I'm anxious to see the success, or failure either way. Maybe it's a spark, but I doubt it carries as far as he hopes. It feels like a "re-election" campaign to buy time.

unless his tweaking includes buying a new PG, he can gtfo

He was at least thoughtful enough to include the year in a way that it can probably be edited later as needed.

To be fair, technically there's still a chance UK wins the national title.

If I were that confident, I'd go to Vegas and wager what that tattoo costs.

I'm not drinking the "cal tweaking" koolaid but they could catch fire and ride it through to an elite 8. Completely unpredictable.

On another note I seen the Cauley Stein transition dunk...nasty.

You know I'm to realistic to ever do something that dumb :)

Put LSU away by 18. Couldn't watch the game, can't speak to their play and if it was improved.

It was better all-around.

Young came out hot. WCS and Johnson had solid games. Randle was having a tough night shooting but pulled down 16 boards. Harrisons played well too.

LSU pulled within 3 at 49-52 and then Poythress (who had 4 fouls at that point) hit a huge three and we stretched the lead back to 10. Tough night for him but big shot by him.

I watched it in DVR. Definitely had a swagger, not sure how sustainable it will be when they hit real pressure.

Andrew had 8 dimes, that's something to be happy about.

Definitely not picking out my tattoo yet, but they gave effort more than any game except for Louisville. Randle was forcing things too early, but you have to love the effort. Rooting for a UK/Vols final. Who wouldn't like that?
