They sure look like they miss Tubby right now. He's got Minnesota 10-0 and beating the likes of Louisville. Congrats to Tubby and the Golden Gophers.

Maybe right now - but not in 2-3 years. It will be impossible for Billy G. to lose with some of the talent he has coming in... ridiculous.

Kentucky most certainly does not have egg on their face. Tubby struggled with recruiting his whole tenure. They are not thinking twice about their decsion I guarantee it.

The next Kentucky fan who wishes Tubby were still their coach will be the first. As I said when it happened, Minnesota and Kentucky are both going to be very happy with how this turns out.

Yep, Kentucky fans were firm in their dislike of Tubby. Glad to see he's doing well with the Gophers.

And for the record, nobody was referring to Tubby as a jackass. I was talking about the tired old subject that people have discussed ad nauseum.

Nice one.

Of course, one's opinion of Rupp probably varies depending which side of the Kentucky border that one lives on.
Wes Unseld and Butch Beard were both born and raised in Kentucky. I'm sure they'd be glad to give a testimonial about about Rupp.

Do we really want to go down the "Rupp was a racist" road again?

Get over it, BPV. It was like, 35 years ago.
People will get over it when Kentucky fans quit trying to make a bigoted drunk out to be some sort of icon.

I'm over. It. Just providing some insight. I don't think the difference in opinion is about locale

Again, I still don't care either way.

All that really matters to me is we take care of business when the Vols meet the Wildcats.

I've got a friend that says nowadays he expects to beat Kentucky whereas 4 years ago it made his season if they beat Kentucky in just 1 game.

TN. BB has come along way under cbp . JMO

It's not JYO.

On the positive side, UK is starting to play better. Smoked both of their cupcakes in the last 2 games. They should be ready for conf. play.

UK just loves those opponents with losing records. I think last night was the second in a string of four straight games against teams below .500.

I have never seen a team consistently bring its A+ game to the table when playing against the worst teams in D-1 as well as UK is this year.

EDIT: After Texas beats Appy State next week, UK's last four opponents and their next two opponents will all be below .500. That's some impressive scheduling.

In related news, Belmont beat the team UK smoked last night, Tennessee State, 91-63 on the road earlier this season. It's always better to look impressive against cupcakes than not, but I call UK's recent play nothing but fool's good and stat padding.
