Wow. This really seems to be a tipping point with Cal vs the fanbase.

Matt Jones, who has been heavily criticized by Big Blue Nation as being too pro-Cal, has articulated how the relationship between Cal and that fanbase is irretrievably broken minus a miracle run in March.

Apparently, aside from the brutal loss to UT, who they want to beat more than anyone else, not showing up to the press conference after the fans showed up for the team is a complete deal breaker. Basically, of all games, he HAD to show up and face the music after this game. He didn't.

I actually enjoyed the game. A lot of crybaby UK fans need to shut up. This team is fun. I for one don't mind watching shootouts even if we lose. Yeah, the defense is outrageous, but I loved seeing Dilly go off and even some of the other guys pleasantly surprised me. UT clearly came ready and locked in. A lot of teams could have folded down big in the 1st half. Lets get 100% healthy and hopefully not completely lose focus on the long season still ahead.
