NOT a Kentucky fan and was pulling for Ole Piss to win, and I hate Kentucky a lot
BUT…….. Will Levi’s arm was going forward. It was at most and 50/50 call to just look at it to double check and they didn’t!!

Can you imagine the vol nation reaction of hookers hand was going that far forward against Bama to win the game??? It would be talked about for generations!! I remember back in like ‘22 when we almost beat Bama but the referee got paid to blow the call, remember that Ralph!!
I saw the reply and his arm was Not
Going forward. Also most of the fans on the Kentucky football forums say it was a fumble.

They were arguing for a targeting call...IMO I think they need to put a rule in if the ball carrier is moving forward and they lower their head and the defensive player lowers theirs, there should be no foul for targeting. My 0.02 of course.
Totally agree and announcers never seem to notice this. If the offensive player is putting his helmet in the way of the defender's helmet, there's nothing the defender can do.

Maybe their future #1 draft pick QB should have played better. Two 4th Qtr fumbles and took a sack in the end zone for a safety. And I’m not sure you could do any worse in the kicking game - missed FG, botched snap, and kick blocked. KY deserved to lose!

They literally reviewed the fumble. And yes, all turnovers are reviewed. You’re on that crack pack if you missed the review.
Or maybe I have Sling and literally was unable to watch the game live which is why I said "likely"

If Kentucky got screwed, it was on the prior fumble when it looked like targeting should have been called. Of course, Ole Miss got screwed on the next possession, when there was a clear facemask on 3rd down and none was called. That would’ve ended the game.

But that last fumble was a fumble.
The Defensive player was lined IMO to hit Levi’s lower but Levi’s ducked his head down also. Only about 10% of the targeting penalties are legit IMO. There are many incidental helmet to helmet collisions in every game. Targeting is a flawed rule that is aggressively called when it shouldn’t be.

Don't know how it supposedly helps us for Kentucky to lose today. Doesn't matter a whole lot one way or another, but certainly doesn't help. Personally I'd like to see an east team beat a west team.

I’m glad to see UK lose. If they are as overhyped as we think, it don’t matter if they have one less loss or not. They look like a 8-4/9-3 team. While I think we can play spoiler for a team or two, Ole Miss is shaping up that way as well. Not on our level but could easily see them giving some teams like Bama and A&M some fits. Yeehaw!

That and there's really no difference in forcible contact in that case. If the offensive player is moving toward the defensive player and he lowers his head as weapon there is no difference Than a defender doing the same thing.

Bama will make a lot of teams look that way. So many weapons and such depth. Hard to fathom.
Depth and weapons have nothing to do with not having a qb, receivers who can catch and a pulse. They are slow as hell and are giving 0 effort

What are you talking about. KY is ahead of us in the polls so we move up a spot. Helps us finish ahead of KY in the East and the polls.

Please explain why UK losing doesn’t help us. I mean what are you afraid of? For the life of me I don’t get some of you. UK losing moves us up in the rankings. How is that not helpful?

Only scenario where KY winning helps us is when we beat them our Strength of Schedule number is better if we beat the 7th ranked team versus the 15th ranked team.

The CFP committee looks at SoS as a factor in the decision. Say we beat Bama but lose to UGA, and UGA destroys them in the SECCG...a SoS of a point or two could decide a CFP invite.

Also, how GREAT does it feel to be sitting here almost midway of the season talking about scenarios in which UT goes to the CFP?!?!?!!

Tennessee has been screwed on so many stupid calls I could care less about other teams getting jabbed.

Eastern teams losing to either east or west teams increases Tennessee's odds to win the division
