I have never been to a NASCAR race where the traffic wasn't horrible...:dunno:

Charlotte does a pretty good job considering how many people are there. Bristol was the worst experience I've had with traffic but it's been several years since I've been there.

Interestingly, the local police officials are always bragging about how well they get the people out in Bristol. And they claim other tracks have studied their plans for use since they do such a good job. Getting 160,000 out does pose a challenge.

Bristol isn't bad at all. You just have to know where to park or make yourself familiar with the backroads.

I haven't been to Bristol in about 10 years so things are probably a lot different now. I would love to get there more often though.

The key is not parking too close to the track.

Another parking mistake I made in Charlotte one year was parking on the side of the road. It was fine arriving to the track and everyone was parking on the side of the road. The problem was that when it was time to leave, they reversed those lanes to help get people out faster and we were forced to go past the track the opposite way of where we wanted to go.

Here's the latest on schedule changes. Some may just be rumors however...

1)Kentucky takes over Chicagoland Cup date, Chicagoland moves to first race of The Chase.
2)Atlanta loses March race.
3)Kansas gets second date.
4)Second New Hampshire race moved from first race of The Chase to second.
5)One of Texas' dates becomes night race.

Also rumors the April Phoenix date will be moved up to week 2. I don't really see that happening, though.

If Kansas gets a second date, where does it come from, and to not give it back to Darlington is a travesty.
