Kentucky Super Bowl ad

Um... UT has a top 5 recruiting class without a superbowl advert. And if they needed one, they wouldn't run it just in their own market to try and beg Tennessee HS players to come to UT.

UT has been lucky enough that you still recruit well when you suck.

Obviously the recruits aren't coming because you've been killing it the last few years. They come for the tradition and the atmosphere.

UK has to start somewhere.

I would have really laughed had the UK guy dropped the football flipped back to him.

He did. What the ad failed to tell us is that it took them 11 tries to get that part right.

Just kidding UK fans.

But seriously.

Either way, good to see them wanting to step up and try to make themselves a player in the SEC.

LOL in what universe could UTAD afford a national Super Bowl spot?

IDGAF about this ad. I think it's cheesy and I think the stadium improvements are still pretty sad. But, it's UK football, and good for them for marketing their program.

Those who are so quick to lash out and degrade other programs without being provoked to do so, typically have huge insecurities about their own programs. Especially when said traditional power is in the pooper. UK fans had the same complex during the Gillespie debacle, quick to downplay other programs efforts while touting their past accomplishments.

It may also mean they have a small manhood, or both.

Obviously it's cheesy. That's what advertising is all about.

As for stadium improvements being sad...I don't know. Looks pretty good to me. What's wrong with it lol?

Commonwealth to be mostly blue rather than battleship gray, the moving of all press boxes above the top tier, new lighting above the press boxes. These pretty much match up with the drawings that have been released so far.

WOW!!! now I see it all!!!
grey>blue
boxes>up
lights>on

It does match up!

Hey guys. Is that humoring our guest enough?
That's actually the best I could come up with that wouldn't hurt his feelings about his Common stadium.

Hardwood is missing. Only way that many Kentucky fans are showing up is if they play a basketball game outside.

Historically we packed the house even in bad seasons. It's just currently reflecting the national trend.

I thought it was a good ad, and its something I don't ever remember seeing from UK. I think it means they are willing to focus on making UK football a contender.

good for them.

I hope they do well, and I think the Kentucky Fans that post on here have got some class.

As a life long UK fan who likes football more than basketball (since one and done especially) you can't ignore the investment made by the university in football. Does it mean UK will be the next Oregon - no but it sure would be nice to have a team that is able to sustain some success and build a new tradition.
