Mark Stoops is now 7-17, riding a six game losing streak. By all means, continue to give him extensions and raises.

While I agree, I kinda feel bad for LittleCat. He seems like a genuinely good guy!

It took Mullins a good while to get Miss St out of the cellar. Sometimes you cant judge coaches by wins and losses if they dont have the tools to win. You just have to like their plans and know that they have a good work ethic and have the ability to get you there in the long term.

Unfortunately fans are rarely afforded a glimpse from that perspective. That's the sort of information you can really only gain as a program insider. The athletic director must have confidence in the man.. who knows, Stoops could have Kentucky in contention for the East in a few seasons

I think AD acted a little quick handing out the extension. Maybe if he had won one or two more games I would agree. But it's more than the wins total imo. Recruiting continues to be a lot better than UK is supposed to get. I don't mind locking Stoops up for at least a few years more. It would take a 4 win season next year to be on the hotseat.

We were right there in a few of the games that didn't go our way. Should have beaten UF and UL. We win those two games and every one probably singing Stoops' praises.

As much as I hate Kentucky, they just ran out of gas this year. They're MUCH better than they were with Joker at the helm. :hi:
