OP, Kentucky is only giving up 295 ypg on defense. Keep in mind that those numbers have come against the following:

1. Miami - Ohio
2. Florida
3. Youngstown St.
4. Northern Ill.
5. Ole Miss
6. South Carolina
7. Miss. St.

And Alabama's defense is giving up 296 ypg on defense.

Kentucky's offense ranks near bottom of the SEC in rushing yards and sacks allowed.

Is there any reason to think we won't make a few stops and get off the field on downs? Unless they try the FL/LSU 4th down strategy, absolutely not. I doubt Stoops will have the nerve to repeatedly go for it on 4th. Stoops is fairly conservative and they're on the road.

Can Kentucky score 20-30 on us? Yes, if they win the turnover battle. There still isn't much reason to believe they'll score over 30.

Is there any reason to believe they can keep our offense under 30? Only if you're a WindowLicker.

Kentucky is a doormat. Stylistically, we're simply a nightmare matchup for them. Kentucky will be lucky to keep it a 1 score game going into the 4th.

Kentucky can win next week. We aren't suddenly unbeatable. With our offense we have chance to win against anybody. With our defense, we can lose to many teams. South Carolina is going to be a huge challenge.

I am not really worried about Kentucky. I am excited to play them. They are a tough team and a rival. Great chance to continue to show how good we are and continue our growth as a team.

There isn’t much I can tell you to make you feel better about this game. But for what it’s worth, I’ve been reading some of the internets prognosticators and they’re all posting the same thing: Vols by Fiddy.

Yes, Levis hasn’t had a healthy OL for most of the year and they’re getting that way. That combined with the fact our already bad secondary is depleted has me very concerned. Do I think we will lose? Not necessarily, but the chance is most certainly there
