Yep, we can’t take that lightly, I watched them versus Belmont last week. We do need to keep working Rackers, Housely etc... we gotta keep working to find more arms IMO.
Yep. At some point our pitching is gonna cost us...well...and defense. Gotta play cleaner baseball.

Agree. Some stuff just happens on defense but Derkay's bad misplay of the fly ball and especially Fergy/Beck misplaced of the routine popup to short right can't happen against good teams. Giving good teams extra outs to work with very rarely turns out well.

Yes and even though our pitching ERA is above average we can't count on having to outscore top teams. When you look at this team offensively it really is the Moneyball technique...we have the 11th ranked batting average but we lead the league in plate appearances due to being at the top in walks and HBP...the thing I like most about this team is they are patient at the plate with a couple exceptions and are seeing alot of pitches. 2021 SEC Baseball - Team Statistics

Don’t disagree. We will need several if we go deep into the postseason.

What did you think of the game day experience in College Station?
In normal years, it's really good. Didn't see the energy, on tv, that I expected. Could be the poor season they are having. Could be covid, I guess.

I personally think that Gilbert could help us in our weekend rotation. His curveball is really good IMO. I would look at Sewell as a starter too and possibly have BT for a closer. But that’s just me . These coaches will figure it out. I strongly believe!!

It was a great experience. There were few fans there but the ones that were there were passionate. A full house there would be a lot of fun I think As I mentioned, folks were nice and respectful. Never heard one person say anything negative about our team or fans. In fact, many tried to get to know us, suggested places to eat, etc. Overall, great experience.

We were there and ATM has moved the student section (horrible idea) and also put both teams parents together (horrible idea). They no longer have a home field advantage in my opinion!

Man, I live in Texas and I love my Aggie friends, but my experience was way different.

I was on the first base side. Guess it could have been different in other areas.

How so? I've been there when the stadium was full and it's a top 5 experience. It didn't look like it was anywhere near that this weekend.

I've been there also and yes it was a great experience. This weekend was different, they didn't like us cheering for our team and voiced that opinion. The staff was very biased against us as Tennessee fans.

can you imagine how frustrating our hitters must be to pitching coaches?

The coaches have got to be telling their guys to throw strikes but they give up walk after walk after walk. Starters are never going the distance against the Vols.

Then late in yesterday’s game we start crushing early pitches.

Great coaching and players buying in..that's how you win against better talented teams...imagine what can happen if we can put together a few good seasons and start winning some recruiting battles
