This is sort of a weird video. Kentucky's OC Rich Scangarello talks about how Will Levis will be better prepared for the NFL by running Kentucky's offense rather than a spread.

Just feels like he's clueless. He's not talking about playing to Levis' strengths. He wants to mindlessly plug him into a system that 'best prepares him for the NFL', except he's basically talking about outdated NFL offenses. Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow were "spread QBs" who are now 2 of the most successful NFL QBs. And Scangarello was fired from his NFL OC role after 1 season (at Denver).

I think Kentucky will treat this game as their Super Bowl and we should be prepared for a dog-fight. But I've got to say, Scangarello seems like a big downgrade from Kentucky's last OC, Liam Coen (now the LA Rams OC).

Kentucky's defense is another matter. They've played well all season and will be one of the best Ds we face all season (along with Georgia and LSU).

In any case, bring the Beer Barrel back and GBO!

Josh Allen Jalen Hurts Lamar Jackson. All mobile. All leading their division. Hell even geno smith and the Seahawks are on top of the nfc west. So there’s half of the top teams in the nfl. If you count mahomes and tannehill (they can move the chains with legs if need be) then it’s 3/4. Boo this man

Todays NFL is trending toward mobile QBs. Defenses are to fast for a pocket passing QB. The game has evolved. If anything, he not preparing Levi’s enough

exactly

the NFL is changing. 5 yrs ago nobody ever thought Jalen Hurts would be a good NFL QB but here we are. There were times in college he couldn't even be on the field. So if he can do it then so can Hendon who is already a more natural passer anyways.

He's sure done a great job producing an offense that doesn't let its QB get killed, all tell you all that.

All around weird interview. Kentucky players and coaches talking out of both sides of their mouth this week:

1. "We have a generational talent at QB, who will be the #1 pick."
2. "Our goal against Tennessee is to slow the game down as much as possible because our QB can't get into a shootout with their's."

You're spot-on: they're talking out both sides of their mouth.

Kentucky's OC does not impress me at all. Reminds me of Bill Callahan, the former LA Raiders and Nebraska head coach, who basically flopped everywhere he went. He "looked" smart and acted like he was the smartest guy in the room, but has never been successful anywhere.

I remember last year Stoops got an un-sportsman like conduct at the end of the game and cost KY any chance of converting 4th down. This year it will not be close enough to matter.
That was a 4th and 24, that got converted right in front of Willie...They tried to run the same play on the KY side of the field later in the game that was well covered...But KY converted the Stoops penalty
