Per Kevin Lynch on twitter; he is saying that Mercedes will choose Louisville, and Kaela will choose Ga Tech!!! This is NOT good news! Let's hope he is wrong like he was about Jannah this past week!

Kevin Lynch is a talent evaluator for Blue Star Report in Philly. Keil Moore is director of scouting for Jumpoffplus.com, and used to be a recruiting analysts for ESPNHoopGurlz before ESPN decided to eliminate Hoopgurlz. All recruiting info now on ESPN is located in the WBB section, but is very limited info now! Kenny Kallina works for gbballinsider.com, and is also a coach in FL. There are plenty more out there, it's just taking the time to search for them. Some have decent info about where players will go; others are, often times, all over the place. Kevin Lynch was the first I saw to report that Jannah Tucker decommitted, and would start making visits, and would not be a LV. I am hoping he is way off on his info about Kaela and Ga Tech! I just don't see why she would go somewhere that's not at the top in the sport!

No. 20 out of 25 aint exactly the TOP of anything. I think the loss of PHS will have a worse effect than anyone wouldve imagined. Warlick is in a tough spot! I'm pulling for her, but following a legend aint easy. I'm sure that other coaches are using this in recruiting.

Wow. Louisville and GA Tech. Well, on the bright side, perhaps with Pat Summitt no longer at the helm, Women's basketball might be a little more even to watch. Now just get rid of Geno, and the top 25 girls recruits will spread evenly throughout the country?

If we lose both of these girls to mediocre programs with no tradition, then the Warlick years are going to be tough. UT has already lost a lot of its mojo because PS, much as I respect her, coached way past her prime. Coaching and spotty recruiting have been issues. We need better coaching--that's the first step.

Better Coaching are you serious? Pat Summit is a legend with 8 national championships and Holly Warlick has been her assistant for 28 years and guess what she was part of all 8 of those NC's!! You have no idea what your talking about. If Russel and Davis those not come yes it will be a blow, but I feel like we will be just fine!! It's not in stone, so let's just wait and see.

According to "most" out there, MR will be committing to UofL!!! If what they're saying is true, then Tues will NOT be a good day for LVs, and the LVs will not get a committ from ANY of the recruits on their ov last wknd! I still don't see Kaela going to Ga Tech, but stranger things have happened! Looks like another class of one!

Tech is ranked 2 spots behind us , not much difference.

Pre-season polls are pointless! I do think we are quite a bit better than Ga Tech, and we will not end up rank so low at the end of the season! I really hope this team surprises everyone! There are way too many out ther, fans included, that are already counting the LVs as has-beens! Are they going to loose games, sure, but they won't be as terrible as folks are thinking!

her career. Fact is, the Vol program has slipped quite a bit. Have you missed the fact that this team has not been to the Final Four in four years?! This team used to be automatic to the Final Four. We won two titles with Parker, yes, but Summitt was not a good coach of team offense, and her teams were always spotty offensively unless she had a superstar or two, even with a bench full of top prospects. We've got a great tradition, and I'll be shocked if Russell opts for a nothing Louisville over the Vols.

How bad did we miss the final four this spring? Lost to Baylor which was undefeated and would have eliminated any other team in the elite eight. What do you know about coaching? Answer: NOT MUCH.

Ok final poll last year UT 9, GT 15 still not much difference. Both teams lost a lot ,and both teams had good recruiting classes . They play in two weeks in Knoxville . I expect the Vols to win . However if Tech gets the number 2 player in the country plus a couple of more good recruits they will be looking pretty dang good . Hopefully we get Lewis and Davis

The game is at GT. It's the first game in their remodeled arena. I already have my tickets.

Warlick can't coach, now we know she can't recruit either.
How do you know she can't coach. I admit I didn't want her last year but something happened and I'm not sure what happened right before the SEC tourney and Holly really took charge and coached her tail off. I watched her the whole tourney and it changed my mind. I think she will do just fine. This year was going to be rough no matter who coached it. We lost a lot of talent last year. I look forward to seeing this bunch get after it.

Folks, Lynch described this as a "slightly educated guess" in his tweet. Most of the posters who are holding forth their opinions right now are not even making slightly educated guesses. That's like me saying that Russell is coming to Tennessee because she scheduled her announcement for 2:30 PT Tuesday before she went to Louisville on her official visit!

Let's not get out on the ledge until something definitive comes out of Oregon!

That's the way it is around here. People go nuts one way or another. If the player goes with UT then they are the greatest but let them go somewhere else and it's "we didn't want them anyway". I wish I had the Kermit going crazy gif to insert here. It would be fitting.
