Last year's senior roster underachieved.... badly. They should have won the SEC regular season and earned a #1 seed for the NCAA's easily, then they wouldn't have been crushed by Baylor and left as the first class EVER to not go to a Final Four.

It's only going to get worse as this staff is whiffing on all their top targets. Tennessee hired the wrong coach.....

Do you need a little hot sauce to go on that crow. I thought we weren't going to get anybody. It's called open mouth and remove all doubt.

I will gladly eat that crow, and I'm hoping for seconds with Kaela Davis. We needed Russell desperately, and we need Davis almost as desperately.

You can't say negative things about the coaching staff and be a fan? If that's the case about 99% of the football fan base consists of trolls....

Come on.... you have 6 posts and started bashing our coaching staff, who by the way haven't even coached a game yet, just a few days before Russell is to announce.

Oh yeah, how nice of you to play off of our football program in your attempt to distract us from the TROLL in you. We will see how long you stay posting on this site now that Russell is a Lady Vol.

Go back to the first of this thread and read them now that MR has announced. Tells you a little about each person who wrote! Almost all of the are full of it.

In today's e world it is hard sometimes to tell the trolls from the true fans. The problem with TN fans is that there are so many 'fair weather' fans it makes me sick.

I am all in with this staff (UT traditions) and their commitment. I love this team coming up and think they might surprise some folks. Probably will not make the final 4 but might be getting more prepared for down the road. Depth at the post may be lacking but I think Izzy will surprise a few. As for me my butt will be in the seat win or lose this year. Watch after losing a big game and see all the trolls and 'fair weather' fans. The biggest recruiting tool we have is the number of fans at the games. Go to a game at GaTech and feel the difference. No comparison. I think U of L is there but do not have the tradition.

Stay true Big Orange (and that goes for Football too!)

Ban ???? Why cause you don't believe what he does ?? Heck I have my own doubts about Holly after this past year . I hope she continues what Pat has built , but that may be asking too much . No one should be banned just because they disagree with you
Also I don't get the post count bs . We all had 6 posts here at one point . If you don't like their point counter with yours, but Ban ??? No way

My thoughts exactly!! There are a few recruiting "experts" that are saying they'll surprised if Kaela isn't a LV, so we'll see how things go with her! I'm hopeful that she'll finish up our recruiting class with a bang! Of course there's still Cooper, Scaife, and Reynolds, but I don't see us leading for them. We might get Reynolds due to MR committing.

I believe we still have a good shot at getting Davis, Scaife, and Reynolds. Reynolds and Scaife seem to be good friends with Mercedes, and I'm sure she's trying to get them to follow her to UT. I don't think there's any way we get Cooper. She'll stay on the West Coast.

Swish Appeal is reporting multiple sources are claiming that Ga Tech is now the front runner on Kaela Davis!!!

No Kaela Davis she is staying right there in Atlanta just a couple miles from home. Reynolds is someone we could use and would love to have another big post player. Regardless when Tucker and Russell get there to go with Massengale, Burdick, Jones, Graves, and Carter we will be loaded.

We may not be done recruiting-wise just yet. I've long thought Tyler Scaife to be a Rutgers lean but heard tonight that Lady Vol fans shouldn't be surprised if she ends up on Rocky Top. This is already a fantastic class for Holly and Co. but if Scaife commits too, WOW.

Early signing period is Nov 14 - Nov 21, 2012. Jordan Reynolds is scheduled to sign on the 16th. I'm not sure about the other two at this point.

As a side note, internet chatter suggests that Tyler Scaife will announce and sign on the 16th, also. I know both Mercedes Russell and Jordan Reynolds have been suggesting the idea of a Tennessee commit with her.
