Kevin Stallings is a douche, Vol. 5,302,240

I'm not defending his actions and you will see my thoughts on it in my previous posts, I'm going off the whole "truth" thing that was brought up in previous posts.

Offended is the wrong word. Mad I can't kick his ass because he's flippin us off as he walks away is why me and other fans are talking. It's un-American. Think about It...you get beat by a team then give proof they're worse than you. It's like admitting you got beat by a jerry's kid.

zjcvols, I dont think I ever mentioned that it was Dooley's fault. I said that whoever did it, should not have, because it was between Dooley and the players.

But, let's not waste our breath on something that happened months ago. Good win for your program tonight.
I know who leaked it. And he was basically shunned by Vol fans.

Truth hurts, and you were the one who said "they don't like the uncomfortable truth at candybilt"

what Stallings said was the truth, and you're fan base did not like it, just like you said we didn't like what Dooley said. The actions were different and Stallings' was out of line, but every time I say that it does not process through people's heads on here. The bottom line is the truth is the truth.

Good thing someone from Vandy is here to be level-headed.

No irony there.

How in the F is what he said the truth? We can easily get into the tourney with the way we are playing. Besides KY, noone is as hot as the big orange. Might want to stop right now, while you still have some face.

And I just want everyone to take away, just the point I was making to many of the responses I got. I was not bashing or criticizing. I simply made a observation that both fan bases were mad about what the opposing coach did regardless if it was public or not. It happened. Then the thing about "truth" came up. I simply stated Stallings comment was wrong, but most likely true, but it was out of place, no doubt. Truth is, next year we will be down, and most likely be in the NIT

take care

A coach yelling at the other team's fans after a loss is just BS chickenshat sour grapes. Pull your pants up, shake hands, and get off the floor. Boo fscking hoo. There's absolutely no parity between that and what a coach says in his own locker room.

What truth? The season isn't finished yet. If UT wins 2 games in the SEC tourney, they'll have a great chance to make the NCAA tourney.

Besides, if anyone knows the NIT it would be Baldy. He has been 4 times himself and went twice in his first 4 seasons and didn't even make any tourney the other 2 seasons.

Stallings has been at Candy 13 years and still hasn't won a SEC title or SEC tourney title. Hell, he never even won the SEC East. He's the epitome of doing less with more. He had a Sr laden team this year and still lost 6 SEC games. Martin took over a team in turmoil, led the team to at least 3rd in the SEC with a roster that returned one starter. Meanwhile, Stallings continued to do what he always does. Choke.

I hope Candy gives him a lifetime contract. I don't think I've seen someone get rewarded as much as him for producing no titles and marginal results.

Here's some truth:

Stallings has never won a SEC East title, a SEC title or SEC Tourney title in 13 years. He has also gone one and done to a double digit seed 3 times in a row. And today he got outcoached by a guy who inherited one senior starter and a team that was in turmoil. UT was picked to finish 11th while Candy was picked to finish 2nd in the SEC and UT still beat out Vandy. That's freakin' hilarious.

Enjoy Stallings. I know we do.

I've have said countless times "IT WAS OUT OF LINE" not once, did I ever say I supported it.

I just think everything I said was perceived the wrong way, and maybe it was my choice of words. I apologize didn't mean to stir this board up like this.

I hope we meet them in the SEC Tourney and the pounding we give them is the reason all the idiot-pundits say is why we should be in the NCAAs.

Can you not wrap your pea-brain around the fact that it wasn't his words that pissed everyone off, it was the fact that the cue ball was attempting to insult fans?

What Stallings said (per the OP) was "Good luck in the NIT!" to UT fans as he left the floor.

"Good luck" is not a statement that can be categorized as truth or falsehood. It is either a genuine wish to someone for good fortune in some upcoming event, or a sarcastic statement. Fifty cents to the reader who first guesses which is the correct interpretation.

Nevertheless, it wasn't a statement that is either true or false. It was pretty obviously a bitter attempt at a jab at UT fans, and it was a classless and pitiful remark by a head coach at an SEC school, who needs to grow up PDQ.

If you're going to try to defend your coach, you're going to have to come up with a different approach than addressing the veracity of what he said.

Try again.

Best 3-ish AM post of the year, imo! Skeweled the Vandy fan; obviously not a graduate, imo.

Congrats on your appointment to the NCAA Selection Committee... Coach Kevin ButtHead has done LESS with MORE than ANY coach in the SEC...And THAT'S the REAL Bottom Line..So enjoy your short trip to the Big Dance but don't count UT out just yet...And BTW, I live in Nashville and work in sports radio...Stallings AND Franklin are MAJOR PRICKS!!! And I can attest to that PERSONALLY!!!:finger3:
