Don’t want a DC that had 70 hung on him.

Pretty sure Boyd threw six interceptions in that game and WV scored 20+ non offensive points. Dude is a great DC and we would be super lucky for him to come home.

I’m not advocating that he actually be the HC, but throwing out a reason as to why he would come here.

I understood what you were saying.
Pruitt would constantly be looking over his back and it would end up in more of a cluster f*** than we are correctly in.
Plus, it would be like Fulmer to do something like that.........

SMH, you are probably correct.
We need an exciting, innovative, offensive minded head coach. At least when you score a lot of points, it’s exciting.
A boring coached team would work if it won consistently.
Pruitt, is boring and loses on top of that. A terrible combination.......

Yeah, I'm sure teams will evaluate Steel as a potential DC based on his performance in a meaningless bowl against the #14
team as an interim HC with key players out.
