Kevin Sumlin? Overrated?

After watching TAMU lose to Missouri it got me thinking, is Sumlin overrated? He lost to every ranked team he played this year, barely beat Miss state and Ole Miss.

Butch Jones beat the #11 team in the country, just sayin

He beat Alabama last season until Butch does that. Please don't call anyone overrated. Just Saying.

We'll see how he does with that pathetic defense and no Jonathan Football next year. Just sayin'

He has been blessed to have 2 great college QBs at Houston and A&M....that I do know. In turn...is it his coaching that has made those 2 QBs look great or have they made him look great as a coach?

This was also the first year he had no Dana Holgerson or Kliff Kingsberry as OC. Now let's see him next year without Manziel.

He just got a 6 year contract extension today - doubt he cares what happens as long as the buyout is hefty

We're living in a basement. Until we crawl out of our own hole, I don't think it appropriate to call any coach of a more successful team overrated.

IMO, Sumlin is overrated and his success at aTm so far has been a direct result of the level of play by Jonny Football. I think he will prove to be Chizik 2.0

Just like when Cam and Malzhan left Auburn, CGC got exposed, Sumlin will after Jonny Football leaves. (Kingsbury leaving has already impacted aTm)

This is completely irrelevant. Our coaching staff can't say that about other coach staffs, but fans can certainly criticize other coaches around the nation.

So, to be straight, we can't criticize our own coach after a losing season but it's perfectly okay to smacktalk the coach of another SEC team that at least had a winning season. I'm sure TAMU would have loved to have us on their schedule. They would have stomped a mudhole in us.
