Key to us getting the win vs South Carolina.

Another key is the crowd rocking that stadium like tha GA game.

Noon games usually aren't the best for the crowd being at their best, but I'm hoping people will bring it on Saurday and USCjr will sleep walk after their big win today.

Key to Game against sc is to stop them from a fast start. Once this is accomplished the doubts and nerves will begin. Keep the Vol boat steady as she goes. Offense needs just 4 yards a clip at a minimum. Defense needs someone to spy shaw. Also on defense keep the running lanes clogged up. This sc team is prime for a loss. The Vols need to bring the heat, bring the hammer, bring the pain. Just bring it.

Long, sustained, point scoring drives. Keep CShaw on the bench. Three and outs to rest the D.

Oh yeah and win all of the Maxims and make some ear-splitting noise at Neyland.

The key to the win is for the team that played against GA last week to show up this week not the team that played S Alabama

I'd rather have the first half team vs SAlabama and the second half team vs UGA. Then again the first half team against APeay wasn't bad either. Or the first half D vs. WKY.

Awe shucks, how bout our best first and second halves, our best Offensive and Defensive efforts and our best Special Teams and Coaching efforts, and our best fan support all rolled into one arse-kicking Tsunami?

Put the first half of USA game and the second half of GA game together and that's the UT team I want showing up. No doubt we would win.

No offense but pressure the QB is always key.

The simple key is that Worley and Co complete passes when it matters most.

On defense I think it's important to not get down early. That also depends on the offense. They need an early turnover or give the offense good field position on a few 1st half drives to let UT get momentum.

:good!:

Hard to do for a pass rushing specialist when the opposing team only attempts 12 passes.

Please stop making excuses for Clowney. The dude is done playing college ball. Its all about the NFL now. He's been half assing it all year.

Honestly, I don't think we beat SC. For one thing, now that Clowney has had his manhood questioned he'll probably wreak havoc. If we can play well against the 'cocks, then I will genuinely feel just the tiniest bit optimistic, but i pessimistically doubt we will play as well as we did against the pups, and of course that wasn't even good enough.

May not win the game, but Tiny will have Clowney contained during this game. Clowney will get his usual tackles against running backs, but no q.b. sacks, UNLESS Worley holds the ball too long and allows for the sack....

Shaw and that offense will be a handful. South Carolina is a complete team. Probably our toughest matchup since Oregon. We'll needs some things to go our way in this one.

Yea, he's an idiot and I really hope that his lack of effort this year really hurts his draft stock.

Other than Oregon, S. Carolina will be out toughest test to date. We'll have to have many breaks and play error free ball in order to to keep it close. I do indeed hope we're ready for this level of competition, but I'm afraid hoping and wishing may not be nearly enough to finish off the Game Cocks....But, Go Vols!

Iebelieve there are 2 keys points. One pressure on Qtb and contain . He likes to runs. Our coaches must have a good game plan mix it up or Spurrier will out coach Butch and Co.

If he likes to "runs" he will stink up the place. probably score at will too because who wants to tackle the Diarrhea Dynamo?

I think the key will be how Tennessee's young corners fare against Ellington and Byrd. USCe's receivers are small but fast. I think another tough match up will be the Vol LB's against their TE Rory Anderson. On the other side of the ball, hopefully our slot guy and the TE's will provide match up problems for their linebackers. With an undefeated Mizzou looming on the horizon for the Gamecocks the week after playing Tennessee, maybe the Cocks will get caught looking ahead.

The key to winning the SC game is to play with the same determination as the GA game. That is all it will take.

I think that the momentum and intensity we had in the 2nd half against the bulldogs will carry over into the 1st half of the game against SoCar. The vols will come out on fire. 21 - 3 Vols going into the half.

The important thing that I recognized in the Georgia game was that the offense has found its identity. When that happens you will usually see more confidence and with that improved performance.

The KEY will be: can the vols maintain that level of intensity throughout the 2nd half and finish. South Alabama scared the crap out of me. They need to play at a consistent level the whole game and like Butch said, dont let the scoreboard dictate your style of play and level of intensity. We have to bring it on every down.

Score more than 13 in both first and second half vs gamecocks. Assuming the defense is tough for most of the game containing the gamecocks for most of the game they are likely to win along with above.
In 3 losses the amount of points has decreased, and I think they finish with vs gamecocks.
