Defense:
Contain Chuckie Keeton on the edge. He is a mobile QB that will run given an opportunity.

Good pass rush. Tennessee had a horrible pass rush last year which put our defensive backs in a bad situation. A consistent pass rush will lead to bad throws and INTs

Offense:
Oline Oline Oline. If they can get a push up front, Tennessee can control the clock and game with a solid running attack. Also, Worley is adequate enough to find the open reciever given enough time.

Prediction:
TN:34
USU: 20

According to USU posters there's no chance of that. NOBODY can rush on them. They hold everyone to season lows.

As long as ut doesn't throw int's then they should be fine. Running should work and with a half decent passing game they should move the ball fine.

Our O line has to give Worley time to throw and open holes for our RB's.

Our Defense has to take away the sidelines and force everything into the middle.

We do this we win.

Pretty generic but true.

Vereen, Maggitt, and Barnett are the keys to the game, IMO.

Put pressure on Chuckie and force him to make mistakes and try to run. A.J. will be waiting.

There was a time that UT would take away the others teams strength and in effect demoralize them

They have a Heisman Trophy or great running back, we shut him down (Bo Jackson, Eddie George, etc). Your defense only allows 100 rushing yards a game? Then one RB will get 130 by himself and the back-up another 70.

Tonight is a good time to return to this legacy. Shut down Keeton and run for over 200 yards (plus Worley and the air raid light up the skies for 4 Tds)

We need to rush for around 200 yards.

Make plays in the passing game.We dropped to many tds and long gains last season.

Play better perimeter defense. Last season our lack of speed showed on outside runs. We were terrible at OLb, and our safeties never showed up to make plays in the ally. We need our safeties making plays in the running game for 3 yards or less.

And we have to keep the qb in the pocket. When a qb gets out of the pocket it puts too much pressure on the coverage and forces them to cover longer.

I don't think chuckie is gonna be so easy to contain. We need to rattle him sack him a few times show him who is boss

Seriously guys.. this comes down to two things... and the Big issue with this is having ENTHUSIASM! We Must come out energetic and have it the entire game.... I think all these guys know how to play.. only problem is learning the schemes and having ENTHUSIASM. To me those two things are a Must. We have lacked that the last couple of years except for a moment here or there.

Score more points than them

Believe you're the better team, play like it, do your damn job, believe you deserve victory, earn it.....by an inch or a mile...

Take advantage of your match ups. That means press cover their WR's and throw against their secondary.

Contain the edges has to happen. Its been apparent over the last few years that if anyone can get outside our D is hosed. This guy isn't some crazy scrambling QB with a massive set of wheels..he is your average QB who is mobile who plays against average to below average teams.

All the media, and the fans from USU makes me wonder for a nano second if I need a reality check regarding this game.

This has been the longest wait. We have heard and read from a small contingent of USU fans of how they are going to come to Neyland and catch us napping in the first game of the season and beat us on our home field with 2 to 3 players.

How they have tradition of competing with Good Teams but we have none. How their team last year was good but this one is better despite their losses. How a 100000+ fans will sit in idle mode and watch their team destroy us. How we are the 4th or 5th best team on their schedule. The list goes on and on.

Surprisingly enough some of the ones that are roaming around in Knoxville seem to think they will not win but had to make the trip for the visit to UT.
