I would rather walk down Magnolia or Cherry at minight than to walk in plain daylight in South Central LA where USC is located.

He should be scared to ever show his face in Knoxville again. I certainly would be if I were him. I don't really blame him for not passing up his "dream job"...it's just how it all went down and afterward that made most of us mad.

Yes, he should be scared and he definitely doesn't need to bring his family here.

You say this as though you're proud of it. Kiffin made a business decision and here we are bragging that if he dared return to Knoxville his safety would be in danger. Pathetic...

not proud of it and definitely not bragging about it.
I just know we have some pretty fanatical fans that hold grudges and if I were him I wouldn't feel safe either. ...just stating my opinion, sorry if you find it pathetic.

Your right and you can state your opinion, kinda funny the posters name is Volwarrior yet he sympathises with kiffin for making a business decision and doesn't feel any pride that our fan base is passionate enough to scare a former coach that screwed us over. I got a better user name that would fit him and it rhymes with volmussy.

Kiffin also ran from the SEC. Not just UT.

Yeah, Kiffin was so afraid of putting the finishing touches on the desmise of Mark Richt, going up against football savants like Les Miles, and facing the juggernauts that are Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Mississippi, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Auburn. It was going to be an arms race among Saban, Meyer, and Kiffin.

Yeah, it's not like two walk-on OL and a walk-on MLB were receiving the majority of the playing time at their respective positions or anything. It's not like 75 % of the roster were Foolmer's recruits. It's not like Mississippi had Dexter McCluster, who's doing well for himself in the NFL, or anything. Auburn was early in the season and occured at Crompton's nadir, but it, along with VT, was a bad game. They happen to the best of 'em.

you probably should have left out VT. Our coach didn't care about that one enough (if at all)

Uh, the guys "producing" (I know it's a stretch this game) are Fulmer and Dooley recruits.

Maybe not. I'd say he'd have rather been out stealing more players from LSU, Florida, and Alabama instead of playing a garbage ACC program in the chicken bowl. His goal was Pasadena, New Orleans, Miami, or Tempe. Not Atlanta.

a coach is worthless if he doesn't prepare his team for the game in front of him. Your excuses for that game are also worthless. He should have written a check to every Vol fan who traveled to Atl for that performance (if he could afford it after his bar tabs)

Saban lost to Monroe is his first year. I guess he's worthless, since, you know, coaches can't have off games.

I was at that game. I knew exactly what it was: a negligible exhibition on our path to a national championship.

What do bar tabs have to do with anything? Besides, why would you need him to pay for your MD 20/20, pj?

because he was more interested in the nightlife than beating an ACC team.

Was Saban's team not prepared? I'd vote no

Hey I understand that your heros on VN still worship Kiffin. You're young enough that you still have a chance not to turn out as ignorant as they are

(and at least I'm old enough to buy my own maddog if I wanted)

MERGE IF NECESSARY

I was just listening to the Dan Patrick Podcast, as I always do at work, and on Tuesday Lame kiffin was interviewed and was asked about a Home and Home with Tennessee. Boy Satan said that he would be all for it and said that he thought we had a great gameday atmosphere but when Dan asked him if he would feel safe in Knoxville his reply was "Oh I don't know about that" and then went on to say that he would not be bringing his family to that game.

This is Great. Kiffin YOU ARE NOT SAFE IN TENNESSEE so stay safe in Cali or we will stick Smokey on ya.

Dan Patrick Show On Demand, Podcasts - Dan Patrick.com
It's the 3rd hour on Tuesday about halfway through.

He probably don't want to bring his family so he can hang out with his old girlfriends.
